  • If you actually watch it.....maybe because he plays it....*GASP* that would have been my first guess at what he might be doing with a guitar...

  • Why do you have a guitar with you?

  • F major harp?

  • @OakLegin It's a chromatic harp.

  • @Demoras thanks bud, i dont think u answered my question. and i think i know how to read the title.

  • @OakLegin Sorry, I guess I should have clarified ^^ Chromatic harps differ from diatonic harps. Chromatic harps are actually two harps in one, through which you can switch using the little button on the side.

Chromatic harps contain a C major and a C# major harp, making you able to play any note and any scale you want :)

  • @Demoras Okay, thanks

  • goo player buti don't loved the song. Any way, cool video.

  • lemme just sit here with my guitar...

  • nice play, bot where is the jazz feeling ? It doesn't sound fascinating.

  • is your arminica a golden cup?

  • i have one of those

  • Complimenti, ciao dall'italia

  • CONGRATULATION

  • I really love your playing. I am a jazz guitarist and started taking the chromatic Harmonica seriously for about a month. So this is really inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

    Peace, Teddy

  • Sounds great.

  • How do you play only one note at a time on harmonica? Do you pucker or do you use your tongue to close up unwanted holes?

  • It looks to me like he plays straight out the middle of his mouth. I kind of fold my tongue and blow straight most of the time.

  • It's a chromatic harmonica, they're a lot different from a diatonic.

  • Either one.

You can also open your mouth wider and put the tongue in the middle to play split chords. But yes you just have to pucker up or use some tongue.

  • What tonality does he have your harmonica?

  • Most chromatic harmonicas are in C, you can get all chromatic notes so you can play in any key with one harmonica. They do make them in other keys though.

  • am I the only one to whom this sounds out of key? somethings off. may just be the recording. nice playing though!

  • I can't play anywhere as good on my harmonica as you. Wow, this was wonderful

  • That really swung. You are a first rate player on both axes, but I like the harmonica more. I am a trumpet player learning to play bebop. Wish I could blow my horn as well as you blow yours.

  • Great

  • Congratulation from France ! Great Job !

  • Very good

  • Very good !

  • You're off to a very very good start on youtube! Is that what can be done when one knows the jazz scales by heart? Maybe it's time I begin to work on that then...

  • Very good ! A pleasure to listen to you !

    Congratulations !
