I recently read that Kuhn (btw, i was there that night on the main floor and this trio was just stunning -- it was arranged by David Loud) had something like a 103 degree temperature......she also that night sang Don't Rain On My Parade (not on any recording) and I love Kuhn but the sound in CHearly on that night was not on target (and I've felt that numerous times in the Hall, the only time I've been in C/Hall where the sound really crackled right was Rufus Wainwright's Judy Garland show)

Marin Mazzie destroys those words. In a good way! She just has this way f singing where you don't expect the voice based off of how she shapes her words, and then it's like... Bam! Beautiful voice. She s a goddess.

Audra is just divine, that higher register of hers makes me want to die.

Judy kuhn was slightly disappointing on her ascending note on way, I wanted belting glory there. Still amazing.

The quality of these performers are what everyone who wants to get into the biz would love to emulate. It is incredible to me that the word "terrible" could ever enter into someone's mind when listening to this piece (no offence Macrogue65). It is easy to tear a song apart when it's videotaped. I have sung what I thought was very well only to discover mistakes when watching the vid. Stuff happens when you are performing. I believe this Love Trio would be hard to top anywhere, anytime.
