Riding is something you enjoy, obviously. It makes you happy. And, as you've discovered, it relieves stress and gives you that break that you definitely need at times. Pursue your dreams as a rider. Never give up on something you love. Horses are a beautiful and magical thing and they will make you happy when nothing else can! So stick to it, girl!
you ain't too big. I'm tryna learn and get (somewhere in the far future) a fell, Dales, or Gypsy vanner pony. I'll look big on those, but you know what? I confess I get overhorsed easily and I want a nice solid compact ride that's not three times my height (not really but it feels like it) so I think you're good.

If you want to give up do it because YOU want to , and by the looks of your riding you look pretty good , every one has improvements needed for their riding even the best of riders ! quit coz u can have a better life instead of horse ridding and do somthing like working with dogs or vets and then get to look after animals so then you get the best of bost world not because u r rubish but u can do so much more =)
I quite like riding actually. I continued, I worked in an animal sanctuary for a year and three months and did work experience with a vets. I'll do what I like thank you. I will do what ever I please and one day I will again resume work with rescue animals.

you r sorta big for the horses, but ur fine weight wise, riding on small horses does develop bad habits and you could improve more on bigger horses but u look like a great rider as it is, ignore the bad comments, people are always trying to put others down on the internet, they dont realize theres poeple behind the letters, pretty cruel place, but im glad you kept ur riding on!

I have been riding for 11 years and people on here and some people i know give me so much shit about how i am horrible at riding and i don't know what im talking about. i ride just to have fun and most of the time dont worry about posture. But all my trainers and my family members that grew up on horses say i have more natural talent than they know what to do with. And you are an AMAZING rider! Good luck with fawn! i loved the video never quite riding! even if someone walks right up to you and gives you a day long speech on why you suck at riding! trust, in my stable that i rode at 3 years ago, a girl walked right up to me and told me she saw my lesson and that i stink, that i should quite riding, and that she has no clue why i even rode the horse i did (which was one of the hardest school horses, first time i rode him) i held back the tears. i stayed and i watched her lesson on the same horse, guess what?
she fell off... twice and the instructer yelled at her the whole time and almost every time she went to canter, the horse was on the wrong lead... when i rode the same horse i only got the wrong lead once

you most defiantly are not too big 4 fawn I had the same problem with my riding instructor, she thinks my welsh pony "Miata" is too small 4 me which is not true height doesn't matter 4 the rider. As long as the horse is comfortable supporting your weight, then your fine!!!! DON"T QUIT RIDING! ITS MY LIFE AND SHOULD BE YOURS TOO!

I agree with horseisbeauty, your heart is right and that's why you are getting these good relationships with the ponies you ride. You now need to add technical skill with the natural skills you already have. There is no horseman/woman that knows it all, don't feel down about it, be determined to learn more!!

Srry about your pony passing. After my horse died i thought that it was time to quite but my true frnds picked me up put me back on a horse i moved barns and with my new trainer i went from 18" to 3' in less than a year. belive and your self&sit back&think well i love what i do so who cares what anyone thinks

Ignore what other people say about your riding. I think it is fine; there is ALWAYS room to improve whether you do this for a hobby or if you're a pro.
Don't listen to what other people say to put you off something you enjoy - by the looks of things you have made lots of great friends (horses and people!) along the way. Just think you should be the one judging your self on whether you should continue this hobby or not.

I quite like riding actually. I continued, I worked in an animal sanctuary for a year and three months and did work experience with a vets. I'll do what I like thank you. I will do what ever I please and one day I will again resume work with rescue animals.

i loved the video never quite riding! even if someone walks right up to you and gives you a day long speech on why you suck at riding! trust, in my stable that i rode at 3 years ago, a girl walked right up to me and told me she saw my lesson and that i stink, that i should quite riding, and that she has no clue why i even rode the horse i did (which was one of the hardest school horses, first time i rode him) i held back the tears. i stayed and i watched her lesson on the same horse, guess what?

You cannot just quit because stupid people out there told you , that you arent good enough. No body is good enough , they are all good you should stick with your heart not to other peoples sayings i would stick to riding i ride my horse every day i can but i had a terriable fall 2 weeks ago where i fractured the growth plate in my ankle, but it isnt going to stop me and people tell me all the time that i suck but i dont care because i know i ride better then they would ever dream of riding

Ok dont tell me your gona throw away what you love because some no good idiots want to make you feel bad. Theyre probably just jealous! Sometimes people would say bad things about me loving horses so much, and those people are exactly why we love horses better then them anyway(: What if horses really took you somewhere in life, but you listened to people who arent even your friends and threw it away. Horses are beautiful animals. Dont throw it way.

you most defiantly are not too big 4 fawn I had the same problem with my riding instructor, she thinks my welsh pony "Miata" is too small 4 me which is not true height doesn't matter 4 the rider. As long as the horse is comfortable supporting your weight, then your fine!!!! DON"T QUIT RIDING! ITS MY LIFE AND SHOULD BE YOURS TOO!

honestly... i'm going to be completely honest and i don't mean to sound harsh but people say rude things no matter what you do in life. so just cause some people are dicks, your gunna give up something you love? i hope not. cause if you do they are winning, you are doing exactly what they want. Trust me, i was bullied for 7 years of my life, i stopped a lot of things i did because of them. my advice don't let them get to you! keep doing what you love and hold your head up kiddo. keep riding!

I agree with horseisbeauty, your heart is right and that's why you are getting these good relationships with the ponies you ride. You now need to add technical skill with the natural skills you already have. There is no horseman/woman that knows it all, don't feel down about it, be determined to learn more!!

Ignore and carry on.. Just make some changes, maybe try a different trainer, discipline or shakeup what you are doing. Maybe you aren't amazing, maybe you aren't shit rider, maybe you are some in between like the rest of us? Keep on...

ignore what other people say about your riding!! their probaly joulus because your a better rider then them. maybe you arent perfect but nobaody is and thats what lessons are for right? i am not the best at riding but i dont care what other people say.there is this one girl i know and she always says "how high you jump today?" and i would say "just like 2'5" then she would say that she jumps 4' and she has only been riding for a month but the point is let it go in onr ear and out the other :D

Dont listen to bitches like that okay ? Horses are my life to and if someone says something nasty don't listen. They are the ones who don't have the talent you do and so they put you down and make you want to quit something you adore! It's pure jealousy! Plus Its happened to me and I have wanted to quit too, but then some helpful advice from my friends made me think "hang on... i dont have to listen to you critics, Its my life! i can live it how i want too!" Dont worry! Keep up the great work :)

your kidding me right? your going to quit doing something you love because of a few stupid comments made stupid people who don't know you. grow a pair and deal with the comments, they're going to come whether you like it or not. i've been riding almost a decade, and the best piece of advice i was given was by a close friend. she said "don't listen to what other people say about you and your horse, your the one who know's your horse best, and you know what's right for them."

dont stop nobody is perfect i know that sounds cheesy but it is the truth dont let other people tell you bad things listen to your trainer and you will go farther than you think you could. Srry about your pony passing. After my horse died i thought that it was time to quite but my true frnds picked me up put me back on a horse i moved barns and with my new trainer i went from 18" to 3' in less than a year. belive and your self&sit back&think well i love what i do so who cares what anyone thinks

Ignore what other people say about your riding. I think it is fine; there is ALWAYS room to improve whether you do this for a hobby or if you're a pro.
Don't listen to what other people say to put you off something you enjoy - by the looks of things you have made lots of great friends (horses and people!) along the way. Just think you should be the one judging your self on whether you should continue this hobby or not.
Keep up the good work! - you have got some beautiful ponies! 8)

If I must say if you are a true rider a few nasty comments wouldnt make you stop.
It doesnt matter if you are good or bad. all that matters is if youre having fun!!! :)

If you love chocoltae and someone told you that you dont look good eating chocolate would you stop eating it? ok I just realized that was a really weird example but do you get the point?
P.S. you can never be too big for a horse or a pony.

hey i totally know how u feel!!!! i had some bad falls and lost all my confidence and wanted to quit!! but then I got a perfect pony for my bday and decided that I just needed to work through the problems and it will all get better!! and it did!!! dont listen to them; they dont understand why we ride :)

NEVER STOP. I got bullied too, but i kept going, and now i dont. Horses are the reason im not a little wimpy chick that doesnt know what to do with her limbs lol. Keep goin' itll get better, AND you'll get better.

dont give up... i hope we all get this message across to you. i hope you are reading. dont let some bullies put you down. my trainer always says find one thing in life you love and get really great at it. for me that is showjumping. if someone is making fun that just gives you more steam to want to prove them wrong :) nothing is impossible!

Never quite. Quitting is loosing, and i don't know about you, but I hate loosing.
Who frickin' cares what all those people think? Who frickin' CARES if you're not as good as they want you to be? God if you sucked (which you dont) it wouldn't matter! Riding is something you love. Are you going to let some internet bullies chase you away from horses? Not only is riding one of the most magical things in this world, but horses are your best friends.
