This song is a beautiful song and I'd love to know who this singer is. Maybe he's the one who's done other songs of Jim's. Jim Reeves has this song on his "The Jim Reeves Way" album. I have read that Jim recorded this a few weeks before he died. A song this pretty almost carries itself. Thank you. - Paula

I believe that is Eddy Arnold and definatelly NOT Jim Reeves as his voice is far deeper. If you don't believe me compare this version with Jim Reeves Distant drums or love you because as I don't think Jim Reeves ever recorded this song.

You've got to love the symbolism of this video...song title, endless highway with nothing, save for the horizon and empty plains. Beautiful. By the way...the middle cloud looks like a Hippo.
