Grow up he is playing the new Brandon on this show (his character is an example of a kid saved ala Ryan Atwood on OC). Tristan is more than token anything and yes he was amazing on The Wire and he will be amazing in 90210 opening the doors for bigger and better things and giving future actors/actress of different races examples to follow by, Tristan is not a nobody, he isn't a salad dressing he is a young up and coming actor in this business. Open your eyes.

Yeah but....The Wire is better. I know it's not fair to compare the two shows but damn son. Weird to see him on a show like this. A freakin generic teen drama for girls. Oh well. Gotta take the job you can get I guess. Just adds more experience. At least it's easier for him. Cause compared to an HBO drama, you don't need to act all that much for a show like this.

Like I said he was amazing in the Wire and he will be amazing here now that I look back at my comment I hope he doesn't mirror any original guy cast member because he can be better than a Brandon and he's more versatile. BTW teen drama for him is a great move he becomes a quicker sex symbol + more, lands you more upcoming roles when the females have your back.
