Yes indeed. Cruisin and Drag Racing Wooddale and Florida Boulevards in Baton Rouge, La. back in 79 through 82 to this song was indeed a great time.

Brings back a ton of memories everytime I hear it.

the first time I heard this song was in the 70s sometime like 75 or somethin, my friends picked me up in a mint condition hopped up 69 GTO with a sound system that blew the windows out. We were blowing smoke so to speak, I was young good lookin and high on this song and doin 80 in that GTO. It sounded awesome and I was in love with 38 Special, amongst many more but that song was defo a riding around, cruising ear drum bleeder.

I saw 38 Special in Aiken, SC in October 2000 at the Western Carolina Fair. They really lit the night up. They didn't play Rebel to Rebel, which was written in memory of Ronnie Van Zandt. I guess since it was October it was probably painful since that's when the plane crash occured. Ironically, Lynyrd Skynyrd's last show was at the old Greenville Memorial Auditorium in South Carolina. Their next show was Baton Rouge, LA. Sadly, they never got there.
