  • I feel kendrick lamar should make a album with j.cole or lupe fiasco becuae they all speak the truth an stand for something different in hiphop

  • there's something about this song....the message, overall sound, background vocals, the chorus. it's sooo dope man.

  • @beastmodelevel22 word... this shit just so dope. I can't get it outta my head.

  • this remind me of a few ladies

  • @med2theman .... no man sorry but no . its just kendrick he's unique . thumbs up if you agree

  • #1 fav for me love this song along with the rest of his music

  • 1. Big K.R.I.T. 2. Kendrick Lamar 3. Ab-Soul 4. Kid Cudi 5. Elzhi 6. Jay Rock 7. Pac Div 8. Chip Tha Ripper 9. Yela Wolf 10. Black Milk 11. Curren$y 12. Smoke DZA 13. Tyler the Creator 14. A$AP Rock 15. Cyhi Da Prynce Honorable Mention Freddie Gibbs, Nipsey Hustle, Childish Gambino, & J. Cole (Mixtape J. Cole not that garbage he put out a few wks ago!)
  • @lilrog0909 I don't think j. cole's album sucked, it's just that it's nothing we haven't heard before. He put himself in a tight position though. Because if he sticks to his style that we heard on friday night lights he'll be repetitive, but if he pushed the envelope people will say he changed.

  • @lilrog0909 I don't know how you can R A N K art. Explain what you criteria is.. and if its based on lyrics, (WITH ALL RESPECT) I don't believe you know your hip hop.

  • @OCbeachbumm99 Oh shut the fuck up man you act like I put lil B & Waka Flaka flame at number one so with all do respect Shut the Fuck Up Bitch!

  • @lilrog0909 LOLOLOL! take the dildo out of your ass bro, I wanna know the answer to my question.. I'm asking you how do you rank your favorite artists?

you're not a Waka Flaka fan?

  • That guy who clicked disliked the vid. accidentally missed the like button

  • @mef2theman i agree but he's also got some Pac! and the underground presence of jay electronica

  • Some1ne got barbed wire in their ear's >_<

  • Oh what a cold world for a broke nigga its bitta Lifes a Bitch I don't hit woman so I bit her <--- bars=)

  • Who produced this? I mean the rapping is sensational but the beat is dope!!!

  • @BobbySaysSo

    Produced by Sounwave

  • OMG one of the best tracks i've heard from him so far :)

  • You can't really put a rating on this song, it's real ass music altogether. But you can't say that another artist isn't because music is music. So yeah, Kendrick is over Wayne, but in someone elses eyes Wayne is a god. So respect opinions everyone.

Barbed Wire is one of the greatest songs off of Overly Dedicated.

  • @TheWolvesAreOut this song and R.O.T.C. are AMAZING

  • Does anyone fuxx wit Curren$y. But Kendrick is def a forced to fucked wit, the whole OD Ep go ham!

  • wassap wit dis

  • did this sample any track?

    anyone know which one?

  • MY Fav song!!!!!

  • Charisma and presence of Pusha T, with lyrics and consciousness of Lupe Fiasco=KDot. *Thumbs up if you agree*

  • @mef2theman i was JUST comparing him to Lupe Fiasco earlier ! same story tellin' ability and everything . a more hood version of Lupe i feel like .

  • @Akabar1 crazy thing is lupe was all about hood ish on his come-up, i can only hope and pray that dre doesn't commercialize him on some corny shit. (not to say he would but after I Need A Doctor......yeaah)

  • @mef2theman Charisma and presence of Kendrick Lamar, with lyrics and consciousness of Kendrick Lamar = Kendrick Lamar

  • @mef2theman Kendrick Lamar > Lupe Fiasco

  • @mirone06 Even though I like Kendrick more than Lupe right now, Lupe is capable of more. Kendrick haven't reached that level yet, but I like him way more than Lupe right now after Lasers and that FOTP trash. I hope he gives us the real Lupe on Food And Liqour II...

  • @1Blaugrana I feel all of that, especially the last part, except... "Lupe is capable of more". That's just not true. Right now, Kendrick has more potential than anyone else in Hip-Hop. He's got a lot of momentum, everyone's cosign, and pretty much his whole career ahead of him. Lupe is fighting to not fall off. And I really hope he doesn't. F&L and The Cool were awesome.

  • @mirone06 Don't get me wrong, I love Kendrick. But I think he has more to prove in order to show that he's better and he definately has the potential..

  • @mirone06

I agree with you on Kendrick but Lupe will never "fall off". His popularity may wane but his skills on the mic won't erode.

  • @1Blaugrana

You think FOTP was trash? I can understand if you weren't feeling some the instrumentals but he brought it lyrically on every track.

  • @mef2theman But you know Kendrick doesn't like to be called conscious...

  • @TheLyhtWorld that's true,,idk i was just listening to this shit high af like 2 years ago and the comparison popped into my head....weird so many people are butthurt by my opinion

  • @mef2theman Thats what makes him so deadly in the game

  • @mef2theman Kdot is Kdot accept that motherfucker

  • @TheDopeBoyzHH huh?

  • big ups to kendrick, was dope working on this track with you bruv!

  • @CrimsonMicrophone Oh they on the list too but thats my top five on the rise list. I been up on Common, Mos, and Talib since the 90's so they aint new or on the rise and Wale, Cudi, and Wiz fill the rest of my list. Who's on your list

  • @YoungDukeDaGod My List Of "On The Rise" Artist In No Specific Order:

    1. Kid Cudi

    2. Kendrick Lamar

    3. Wiz Khalifa

    4. Wale

    5. J. Cole

I Have To Especially Point Out J. Cole. His Rhymes Are Hella Deep, His Songs Are Hella For The Soul And Heart And Mind. That's My List.

  • @CrimsonMicrophone I fucks with your list we both have the concept of real music but since you say you like Cole cause is rhymes are hella deep and his songs are soulful you gotta put Big K.R.I.T. up there in your list if thats the case he right next to Cole

  • @YoungDukeDaGod Aite, Aite, It's All Opinion, And I Didn't Ad KRIT Because I Ain't Never Heard Him Before, But Now I'll Try. Real Music Is Real Music, So It's All Tight With Me!

  • @CrimsonMicrophone I feel ya its all opinion and real recognize real

  • @YoungDukeDaGod For Real Man. No Rick Ross Or lil Wayne for me. Just a daily dose of Kendrick, Cole World, Lupe, Taylor Gang and Cudder. And I gave Big KRIT a try. he's tight as hell. so far i like 'children of the world' and 'king.'

  • @CrimsonMicrophone yea I feel ya I still bump their old stuff that was hot. Told ya Krit was nice

  • Black Hippy.

  • @CrimsonMicrophone listen to now or neva, neva go back, and if i should die all by big k.r.i.t....#good music

  • @thizz92 yeah, K.R.I.T. is dope too. The group Pac div are good too but, most of their songs aren't really deep or anything like that.

  • @CrimsonMicrophone Common is not a ''On The Rise'' artist tho,

    but he really dope.

  • @heezychilla On The RISE List Below Dawg haha

  • kendrick is like a gangsta lupe!!!! cant wait till the rest of the world hear him

  • One of my favorite joints on OD
