If you know some physict you shoulld understand that even if the shell takes the

impact it doesnt mean that the "intestines" wont take impact of that sudden stop.

So yes im not surprised about it. So travelling at low speed is no prob. Hits or hard pokes from objects on the armor even better. But for high speed flights and crashes I would add some kind of airbag to it =).

this test is unfair to iBand. its meant to protect the phone from shock and slight fall but not brutal throw like that.

who'd do this? the power fo gravity... if you drop it high enough onto a solid surface it will have this kind of impact... e..g off scaffolding: off a window ledge: for those of us workign on building sites, this is a meaningful test: if it slides off a surface high up... e.g. down municpal stair wells...

I thought this vid was to promote people to buy the product, not the opposite. Wierd. What's the use of this case, if the iphone will still be damaged with the iband cover? it defeats its purpose right?

if he didn't have the case, he would have been picking up pieces of his phone...it would have not been playing the video after he threw it had the case not been there. Obviously the case isn't perfect but the point is the phone took a load less damage then it should have
