Ive had two shunts in my life due to hydrocephalus and its made me who i am and im awesome!.;0] so hopefully alls well with alex and hes grows up in the same way.=0]
In response to that horrible comment that was left in regards to Alex, I sure hope something doesn't happen to any of their unborn children; however, judging by the maturity and intelligence displayed, it seems this person wouldn't even care. I wonder if he felt compelled to make such a remark because in reality it should be him that is thinned out from the gene pool.
I found your video very cute and it made me smile. My daughter also has hydrocephalus and it's tough. I don't know why people are posting such rude comments, but it'll come back to them. Karma is a real thing. Anyways I hope your little one is doing well. :)
ppl like this troll are attention whores. his daddy didnt pay enough attention to him as a kid so he learned to be an azzhat to get any attention at all. for some ppl negative attention is better than no attention at all. tell them off and then ignore them and they usually go away. P.S. he is one to talk about what parents should do about their children, his mom should have swallowed =)
Dynamitebaiter making derogatory comments about anyone (Children ESPECIALLY) is uncalled for. If you have to make rude comments about people to draw attention to yourself, it just shows what a pathetic person you are. This child is disabled and you are pathetic and heartless. I too will keep you in my prayers and pray that God makes something happen in your life that people make rude remarks about, that makes you think about how you act towards others.
No, its just that I dont speak Thug. I use actual words and complete sentences, not slang and fragments. When I talk to someone who cannot speak as well as my 7 year old, I have a hard time understanding them. And making any kind of comment like that about a sick child, just shows your own ignorance. I will keep you in my prayers. Say what you would like, you wont get a rise out of me. I dont need your approval to tell me what a blessing and gift from GOD my children are.
I have a question because i have this disease as well but i was just wondering if it is okay for me to have a baby in the future. i am 18 right now and even though i don't want a kid until i am done with college, this question has been bugging me. I asked my neural surgeon and he said it was okay. But I would love to get some answers from other people. Can someone please help me?
well yeah if you have asked your neural surgeon and asked if it was genetic then it should be alright and if you fall pregnant get a test done hope that helps
I did ask already but and he said it was okay. I looked at my x-rays and have extra tubing for growth. but now that i know that, i just want to talk with mothers with who have a VP shunt and see how they are doing. i'm trying to get as many sources as possible. also i know that it is genetic if both parents have the disease.. :)

You are not God and never will be. You are simply someone who is a pathetic, sick individual and you need prayers BADLY!!
