Being an old time motocross racer from the 80's.. I still like the "loud sound". Think about it, what would be a Harley without sound? But I see ALOT cool in this too. Environment, weight.. all that. I'd like to have one as a second dirtbike of I could afford that.
haha what the? they use mountain bike forks - 200mm Marzocchi 888 - the forks used by a lot of pro riders in the downhill racing scene... bit of a joke if you ask me, they could've at least found some good usd forks
Great concept, but they need a little help on the appearance.. the big plate cover for the battery looks like crap.. and next time don;t bother speeding up the video to try and make it look faster than it is. Have someone ride it against a gas powered bike if you are going to compare it to a gas powered bike!
Unlikely- electric motors have a wide power band and instant torque, so a low gear to accelerate from a stop is not necessary. What would be cool is if they could incorporate regenerative braking without a huge weight penalty.
