  • and then jacob was born

  • Alpaca thinking hey why does my ass hurt so much

  • Very beautiful. Another miracle. I'm glad you did not interfere when there was no need. There was a camel birth on U-Tube and the guy yanked on the baby camel - not allowing the poor mother (who was yelling with each brutal tug) to to her contraction thing naturally.

  • wow alpaca's need a lot of energy to do this

  • Aw poor cria!

  • damn i didnt know alpaca have inter racial babies lol

  • Wow, that's amazing! Hmmm, baby Alpaca are not too cute when they first come out; they look a little alien-ish to me. But the little sounds they make are too cute. Very interesting video. I enjoyed it and learned from it. Thanks for posting it.

  • They seem to not have bad pains :l

  • I work with alpacas and normally we are there to help if needed and we dont let the baby hit the ground we catch it and clean the stuff from the noise and everything so the baby dosent suck it into there lungs. Its very forfilling to know that we help bring a life into the world like that

  • Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

Thanks for posting this. The miracle of birth sure is ugly. (;^)

  • @CattyCatRanch

    Pretty. Ugly. Pretty ugly.

  • lmao the baby alpaca is just like..chillin..half way outta the cooch...

    xD

  • lol the alpacas like... hey wats that??

oh wat do u no im giving birth.. 0.0

  • They are pretty nonchalant about it after the first time. Just keep on eating while it happens, once in a while turn around to check the progress. :)

  • so cute and loving mom!but they give birth in a unique style.i mean, the poor baby fell down from up side!it usually does not happen when horses are giving birth.don't u think u must intervene?!

  • thats how all llamas and alpacas are when they are born the only time oyu would intervene would be if the was a breach or ater the cria is on the ground to clean it because the mother (dam) can not clean the cria off its self

  • Interesting . thank you

  • also alot of animals remember have to keep an eye out for predators, many herbivors give birth standing up (even girraffes) so its faster for them to run away had a predator came, its a natural instinct,
