just take your time with it. my "first real" wood working project. ha, a lot of people are not getting it. i may make a video to show you guys. its pretty simple.
I'm in the beginning stages of making my own pad, I can only hope it comes out half-way as professional looking as yours, although I intend to make it out of wood...right now I'm just having trouble comprehending the sensor part >.< great work on yours though, I give it a 5 star job
Also a good person can play with and with out the bar the bar is an extension of playing. plus it's hard to hit 24th and 16th notes at 170+ bpm no bar
mehh, i ve never done any real kind of wood working before. using a jigsaw isnt too hard, plus i had a lot of cuts made at home depot for me. not hard at all. its all basic wiring and wood working. aprox cuts are fine. know that when you wire matrix sensors use the ground wire as the top half. i put in metal sheets and it just saves time from a bunch of metal touching metal issues.
matrix sensors are the only sensors ive tried. i mean if he aaa'd so deep im pretty sure the sensors are legit.

not sure if it's just me, but the video has the "widescreen bars" and blocks out some of the text and pictures..

@lildarkfreak yeah thats my fault for making the aspect ratio wide when i made these videos separately. only the first bit is like that.

im hopefully putting a video of me up soon, but im not doing too bad on this pad. my game has improved, especially because of the omission of a bar
