this is from the off the map dvd! they did 2 shows and did all the same songs, and then blend them together! also on some other songs from the dvd it shows chad with and without a hat :O!! and anthony's mohawk isn't spikey on others!

There is a video clip of "Show of Strength" by Echo and the Bunnymen here on youtube, They start playing the part that the Chili Peppers are playing at about 3:00 into the song, and he does almost the same lyrics at about 4:00 into the song (close to the end). But its an original Echo and the Bunnymen song, (meaning that the Bunnymen wrote it and recorded it first). The Peppers probably just thought it went well with their song "Blood Sugar Sex Magik".

The bit that they play at the end is not "just a jam". It's part of a song by a great band called Echo and the Bunnymen, the song is called, "A Show Of Strength". It's a great song from their LP "Heaven Up Here". You should check out the Bunnymen, they were one of the best bands of the 1980's. Nothing like the Chili Peppers though. I was pretty surprised that they were playing it. Just shows you that they have good taste.
