  • His collection of Stews has a minor flaw: It lists "Eintopf" which means, roughly, simply "stew" and is correctly translated to "one pot" 'cause it is used for ALL dishes that may be made in one pot only, like lentilstew, cabbagestew, kalestew etc pp

  • @CorporalDeath67 I found one at a sporting goods store where they sell camping equipment and supplies.  It's meant for toasting things over a fire.

  • @slasher667 Naw didn't you listen to Alton? If you braise it and then let it cool for an hour, the meat is as tender as it would be if it were falling apart in the stew, but because the gelatin takes more heat to be released a second time it doesn't fall apart when you stew it.

    If your meat falls apart you failed.
