  • i make my woody puke up foamy

  • once u get all the stuf down, ur chuck norris...

  • I already mastered my woody (0_0)

  • how much was the pro model ???? or how much do they cost?? i have a foamy and now i know why i can get far out, i skim at white plains beach in Honolulu Hawaii and im a new bee at this. but yeah how much do does the polyvac ( if thats how you spell it ) or any pro models

  • How much was that pro model?

  • thumbs up if you notice the bird at 0:44

  • thank you

  • I am a complete beginner and only used my friend's woody like twice and loved it. I've always wanted one too, but never got the chance to go to the store and get one myself.

My family friend ended up getting it for me for my birthday, but he got me a fish skimboard and it's only like 5 inches shorter than me. I guess it's to big for me but is there anyway I can use it?

  • i'm watching videos like that and i just wana go skimboarding!!!!!its winter but that not going to stop me from skimboarding and surfing!!!but i dont have much time in that winter and its just.....uuuuuuhhhhhhhh!!!greetings from greece

  • i have that exact woody

  • get a fomie ride it see if u like it then either poly or pro model save money

  • haha nippy

  • haha nippy

  • I have a Foamie that looks like the poly and when I bout it it said fomie ? And can I stay with a Foamie or is it better to move up to new boards?

  • very good your equipament

  • you practice wath time

  • i have that same foamie :D

  • @pgomespwr95 Is it good dude? im thinking about getting one

  • do you put traction pads on the wood board

  • is that at aliso creek??? i was down there today lol

  • 0:39 "once you get the woody down" hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • gr8 thnX

  • "Once you get the woody down" haha

  • M8 i just bought a skimboard L roces and i weight 63kg . Will the board hold me ? i heard that some of those wood ones cant hold the dudes above 60 kg . : (

  • CAN you ride waves with a woody ??

  • @FlipChrisJan no, carbon fiber or fiberglass

  • @soccermaniac26 thx dude !

  • @FlipChrisJan no prob i just got my new fiberglass/foamie a couple days ago. you can either get a victoria which i recommend ($190) or you can probably find another as low as 100 if you re on a budget

  • @soccermaniac26 oh nice , Happy Skiming ;)

hmm , I´ll probably get a cheaper one because I live in Austria and dot get to skimboard that often :/ But thank you again !

  • @soccermaniac26 i have a fiberglass for 287.74 $ and in portugal they cost less...

  • @ilyasoulful1 a woody is for sliding across the sand also to help get your balance, i wouldnt suggest using it to try and learn how to ride waves, it would be better to buy a foamie for learning how to ride waves or one thats not made outta wood, but if u really dont have the money to get a higher quality board u can try it with a woody, but after a while it would be better to get a better board. :D

  • I literally just bought a woody after seeing this. ha. Any tips for a complete newbee?

  • why the fuck am i watching all these skimboarding videos i have no desire to do this

  • Will a woody be good if I use it to ride the waves not just standing on the sand perfecting my stand/posture?

  • Can I flat land skim with a fomie!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @kodyb1011 i do it works fine

  • what a bro!

  • once u get all this shit down, u are chuck norris

  • the grommet is supposed to be better than the foamie, but it is still cheaper. are they both good for flatland?

  • sum1 plz tell me the difference

  • lol "once you get the woody down"

  • @JosephKMusic98 Yeah, I was just gonna say that.

  • ive been skimboarding for five years and i never found out wat the difference between fomie and fiberglass boards r can sum 1 tell me plz

  • i dont know what type of board do. can someone help

i have a zap board i think the material is fiber glass because its not foam

  • haha he said woody XD

  • Thanks man. I'm new to it and just about to try. Thanks again

  • This guy is boring as all hell

  • @pingping565 atleast he rides better than you

  • @pingping565 he wasnt trying to entertain u, hes teaching and maybe you could learn something

  • (on flatland)

  • Which board is the best to do tricks whit?; vic. Woody or vic. foamie or a bd board?

  • am i the only one who noticed that he always once u get this down u can bump it up

  • does anyone see that bird behind him

  • These boards are a little expensive but really good boards! But can a foamy ride on flatland good too?

  • fuck expertvillage, this guy is awesome

  • is a fiberglass board bad for flatland or just not as good because its more expencive? i dont have waves where i live haha

  • @hapilton i wouldnt recommend going from a woody to a carbon fiber, but if youre stable with your speed and have well balance, why not?!?! if you have the money, then purchase a carbon fiber. theyre so solid and light.

  • wat ones higher up between a ultra and poly

  • @boarder551 carbon fiber, or pro model.

  • what is the price of these boards?

  • is 'foamie' a nickname for a type of board? if so can someone let me know what its really called, because i like that one

  • @0x0D0x0 its the type of the material its made of. a foamie usually has a foam core. like he said, "a foamie will help you on your wave riding." any particular brand youre interested in?

  • @guthsium depends on the brand, type and weight. you can pick up a foamy at ron johns surf shop at pier park for around 120 i think. you might wanna give them a call. they also offer carbon fibers.

  • PENIS

  • i was hoping you were going to talk about more technical specs of a board like 3/4 vs 5/8 and tapering and different rockers and what things are good in a board for different breaks, not just go down the line of vic boards

  • can u put trachon on a fhomy whant to know?????????????

  • @brandona12311

    yeah you can

  • hey i recently bought a skimboard but i dont if its a fiber glass of pollyback how can i tell

  • I saw a kid who was 3rd in the east coast for skimboarding and was sponsored by Alley Oop. He had that same exact board that's in this video

  • Can u put a traction pad on a foamy??????????

  • do foamys break easy

  • @autumn987654321 i think difficult to break them

  • my advance: zap lazer (360 shove´s, perfect drop and slide with that small thing) why go trough foamies and intermediate boards? I bought pro model and I´m nice with it lol

  • I want a traction pad with Bob too!

  • U r da only person on YouTube who is a good teacher

  • I  skimboarding

  • when it gets a little bit nippier..

  • waxed up and stickey?

  • Why not just invest in a good/expensive board and get good with that? Why start out with all of these other boards? I understand why you want to use the woody if you are new to this but is it even necessary to use all the rest?

  • @sikarulz18 a woody is made of wood and a foamy has a inner foam core

  • woody?

    foamy?

  • Also man should I invest in a grip pad?

  • @TheDspochop invest in the sex wax!

  • Hey man Im headed to Saint Augustine FL in about a week, I wana try skim boarding.. what kind of board would you recomend? Woody? foamy? just looking to get the hang of things then maybe upgrade later. thanks bro

  • does the "woody" have any grip

  • @LegitLaxMAGS2111 I f you put wax on it, yea

  • "glides a lot better" (; ahahahha.

  • dude where can i get that Bob Marley TRACTION PAD!!!!!! :O

  • the better question is: Who did not ??

  • does anyone else notice the kayak on the cliff behind him?

  • @Arandomguy96 I did

  • @insanewithpain123 u did wat?

  • do anyone else notice the kayak on the cliff behind him?

  • how long i have to learn for riding waves?

  • How good do you think the grinder is? Is it for begginers, moderates, or advanced skimmers?

  • igualito a mi pata

  • :P wut is better zap or victoria. ive been using a woody for about two years and i dont know which company i should buy from

  • @TheKukid101 to me a Victoria skimboard is better, im getting one soon

  • How good of a board do you think a grinder would be? Advanced, Moderate, or Beginner? Please reply

  • hahaha you can make a fomie out of matierial in your house i just made one and im new to shaping

  • "You can bump it up" hahaha the foamie is the victory board

  • "You can bump it up" hahaha

  • you hace some sick boards dude

  • 1:08 thats the one i just got!

  • I have a Roush (Rasta Pro Epoxy i think), but i know they are local to Santa Cruz and idk if they're well known elsewhere or not. Great board though. Before it i used a Victoria Foamie.

Also i use a wetsuit every day cuz its freezing cold every day :P

  • How do you skim waves? tips plz

  • i fucking hate ads

  • @pineapplelover91 hit f5

  • fuck i like your board man

  • < - - - superstar skimmer!!! Check out ma new vid

please subscribe if you lik ma vids imma better in da water !!!in action but hope you enjoi and subscribe thank you!!!

  • U should give me one!!¡¡ xD

  • to any beginners wathcing this thinking just get a pro to start so you dont spend as much money, YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF. ive been doing it for 5 years and im using a poly, pro's are fucking intense

  • i hate riding woodys they make my back hurt its too straight i like a foamy because its softer and is easier to ride especially cuz it has a curved tip lolzz

  • or the kayak

    (10 points)

  • i have a zap wedge it says it holds up to 120 pounds... i weigh 170 will i be able to ride waves with it? and no i didnt buy it lol

  • do u recomend trac pads for victoria woodys?

  • i need help i wanna start skimming, i looked over some options like the the victoria foamie and the zap large pro

  • @fauser3 you wanna start with a woody dude trust, its alot easier to balance on its not as fast and out of control as a foamie, get a victoria woody just like the first one he showed.. you can get a foamie to start off but it might be a little harder

  • I wake up with a woody every morning... if I wash it really fast I get a foamy!

  • @Th3MagicRat LOL

  • @Th3MagicRat

Ha! then later on it becomes a smelly..

  • @bristolbarnes ...and when it matures you get a cheesey!

  • What do you think I should get? Alright, I skateboard, have great balance. I've been skimboarding and can shuv it, 360. I tried to hit i wave with my woody board, I rode the wave for like 2 seconds and I wanna try to ride the waves. I wanna try the foamy or the poly back, but idk which one to get since i already know the good basics and balance. I'm thinking poly back.

  • 2009 morgan just pro model, whatta sick board!

  • "Once you get the woody down..." LOL

  • @smarty829 wats so funny, he basicaly drops DOWN the woody

  • 10 points to anyone else saw the bird behind him

  • @mynameisasher Yes, the bird was using a 'webby'

  • @mynameisasher 20 points for however saw the kayak almost falling of the hill!

  • @mynameisasher 10 points to me :) wow double rainbow omg! double rainbow! omg! its a double rainbow all the way.

  • @mynameisasher 10 points to anyone else who saw the three birds behind him

  • @mynameisasher 10 points for me :D

  • 2 questions. Can u do the waves on a woody? and How often should i wax my woody?

  • @wd6k6 you should wax your woody when it starts to noticably loose grip

  • @wd6k6 you can buts its harder because they dont slide as far its harder to get out to the waves and they not a boyent so they sink faster

  • does anyone know what a wedge skimboard is

  • hey, i've been skimming a woodie for about a year, and i can just about shove-it, ollie, and 540 spin (i would be able to do more but i don't live anywhere near a beach or decent lake, so yeah :S) and i'm looking for a new board. i want a new woodie but i've noticed there are heaps of shapes (egg-shaped, pointed, sticking out tail etc) and im not sure which one to get. can anyone help? personal message me please :D

  • @skatingequalsPoWeR hey man depending on how tall or heavy you are the egg may not be the best one to get... usually the best boards to go farther are the narrower boards... if you can get a fiber glass board or foamie that would be way better than any woodie board

  • @WillEyeAmz ok thanks :) can you still do inland tricks on fibreglass boards though?

  • @skatingequalsPoWeR absolutely dude... they're really light and maneuverable so you're good to go

  • how do you remove wax??? anyone know?

  • Well they should give you a tool, or you can buy one. But you can use anything from a knife to a big piece of plastic.

  • What kind of board is that

  • about how much is a skimboard

  • @douglas0929 the price of a skimboard depends on what you're after. for beginner woodies, they can be anything from $20 (second-hand, although they still work pretty well) to $60 (new) and more, depending on the brand. my first board was a $60 wahu board, and it was pretty damn good, so i suggest buy a cheap-ish new one and work your way up from there :)

  • hi i have a wooden skim board and i can do some tricks like a 180 n i can go over some realy small half foot waves 4 my next board what should i get a wooden board or a foamy also what is the 1 next to u

  • @skimboarding300 the one next to him is his pro modle i just orderd one they range from $500 to $600 but they are a life time board and the best board you can own pritty much ( fast smother ride and floats like a ship)

  • idk tell me in ft not in meters

  • 5.74 feet
