First, the theatrical movie never shows the Joker purging Robin. Second, the gun was a laughing gas and Robin pulls the trigger.Third, Robin throws the gun and pushes Joker into a room and there Joker gets wet and cables wrapped around him, and he gets angry but slips and pulls a lever,so the electricity run through the cable and Joker was wet

Yes. The original American airing was heavily censored because of media drama back then. The Joker slipping in water and getting electrocuted was the censored scene, because the original was "too bloody and violent." Also, the part where he uses a knife to "defeat" Batman and set him up for Robin was altered so he'd just use his fist.. even though he'd obviously never be able to even make ol' Bats flinch.
