Hey! You can download sbsettings and it gives u the option to shut down your iPhone(: you should already have it in your cydia so just install it, and once it's done, you reboot (in cydia, it'll have a button that says reboot device) and then swipe left of the status bar to see the sbsettings. also try to use cydia to remove if you are not comfotable with ssh.

If you are on ios4 use quicklock 2

first try rebooting. This usually fixes all of the problems.

Check the file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d

The file is called cydia.list. make a backup (of a different name like cydia.list.backup)

now delete its entire contents and save.

Now reboot.

@avenged7fold1000 Jailbreaking is a process that can basically, "Unlock" your iPod to the full capacity of the device. Apple doesn't want you using these feature for no apparent reason. It also gives you access to Cydia, like the App Store, but for jailbreakers. You can get lots of tweaks that Apple doesn't like.

@ibotalot Yes, Only connect you iPhone to iTunes, look at Google for Custom Firmwares. Then Download that one that you need. Then click on iTunes on "Restore" and holt "Shift Button" while that than choose the FirmWare you load now it will put the Firmware to your iPhone with Cydia. BUT. You had to backup everything because through "Restore" everything will delete! :T

Love the mod it works great! One thing to point out that I didn't hear or see anyone talking about. Not only does this work great for locking the screen, it also is a big help to those of us out there that like to take advantage of the "screenshot" option. @bamsgirl5 you can use boss prefs or sb settings to rebbot because on boss prefs you scroll down to the botton and it has power options or with sb settings there is a power icon tap it and it will give you a list of options hope this helped

You need to set the sound effect to it it you can use different sounds, it even works when you press the actual button. You can also set it to activate when you press the Home Button twice.

no u jailbreak it on 3.0 firmware if you have upgraded more ( 3.1 3.1.1)  then you will need to downgrade to 3.0. There are loads of tutorials of how to do this.
