You don't have to be that worried, I've had THREE machines since day one and never had the Tri-Ring.

As long as you get one that has an HDMI port in the back (as thats all new chipset models) and give the machine plenty of ventilation (I.E. not stick it in a cupboard to play) you'll be fine!
