There was actually one episode during red sky era that actually had a blue sky instead: The penultimate episode, "The Day The Earth Disappeared" had the first action scene with Dregg with a blue sky.
i liked the red sky theme better. But my fav TMNT 1987 episodes are Return of the shredder, Convicts from Dimenson x, Get Shredder, Cry Havoc and the new mutation.
Season 2 was nice in the early part as it showed Shredder as a formidable adversary on his own without anyone's help. If anything, everyone else he's accompanied by brings him down, along with his obsession with obliterating the good guys.
@sysvjbjr Is more common for Biker mice from Mars fans to like it better than TMNT? Or as common to like both the same. Because i see alot of Biker mice from Mars fans commenting that they would beat the Ninja turtles and saying they like them both but biker mice better, plus they are some saying they like both rather than like one or the other better. It doesn't seem to be all in the same number though. I ask because i would like to carify it.
i never seen this version of the turtles before but it seems alot more interseting then the 80s one that i watched when i was little and michaelangelo seems to be more mature and serious in this version i like it : )
@Bastista1 well a human couldn't take the gun blast that sadisticmind49 is talkin about. He's not fully human now or else he wouldn't be able to take a devastating gun shot like that.
@Cogskate I rea lot of people stating that TMNT is a 90's cartoon rather than an 80's show despite the fact it started in the late 80's. I guess it is more of a 90's show, because it lasted longer in that time period. To carfiy its more a 80's toon or a 90's toon.
@nschario But then watching 4Kids will make it an 00's cartoon, and Nick will bring it into the '10s. That's FOUR DIFFERENT DECADES of Ninja Turtles, something I didn't even think would happen as recently as 10 years ago. Plus the comics started in 1984. Overall, Seasons 1-3 are the actual '80s, 4-7 typical early '90s (a mix what people think of the 80s and 90s, with season 7 much more '90s than '80s, and 8-10 are TRUE '90s. But I will miss the commenting of these videos when Lionsgate does it.
Oh, Tony Jay played Lord Dregg? WONDERFUL casting!

I love Dregg's voice! It sounds so like the "badass and intelligent/wise" type of super villain.

Seriously how dumb can the Humans be to believe that an Alien who looks like Lord Dregg possibly be good

I want to know what's he's doing in that building: Leonardo
We've got to blow the whistle on that space freak: Michealangelo
And i'm the Easter bunny: Rapheal
And i bet they're going to give it to him too: Donatello.

I'm STILL pissed they had to give Mikey the grappling hook due to the fact that nunchucks are illegal. It's just not right seeing Mike without them.
And if anything, isn't a grappling hook an even MORE dangerous weapon than nunchucks?

Lionsgate still owns the old series while Nick owns 2k3.
