I need some help please. Before I do any of this I'm looking on cydia for ultrasnow. I'm gonna update my baseband to 06.15.00 so I could unlock it for T-Mobile. But on cydia there's 3 ultrasnows. UltraSnowCN 1.5,UltraSnowCN1.6b5, and Ultrasn0w fixer for 4.3.1 . And they all say "It can unlock Baseband 04.10.01, 03.10.01, 02.10.04 and 01.59.01, but I'm gonna have 06.15.00??? And I have 4.2.1 btw. Any help would be appreciated please. Answer soon if you can please

@victoriousathome Open Cydia and go to search. Type 'Ultrasn0w'. Install it. Reboot. Turn 3G off. Done. Utrasnow no longer exist in iPhone dev repo in Cydia. You will only get it when you search for it in 'Search' tab in Cydia.

@jguzman13033 Reboot your iPhone. Connect to wifi. Open Cydia. DO NOT TOUCH CYDIA till it loads all its sources. Now go to search and type 'Ultrasn0w' . Install it. All done. Make sure to turn off 3G in Settings - General - Network

Thanks for posting the video. I am unlocking iphone 3g on 4.2.1 using redsnow 0.9.10.4. Redsnow crashes once i select install ipad baseband and click next. Details .. 1st step of jailbreak i get the message that auto detection is not supported for 1st gen devices and to select IPSW. when i get to the screen where i can select ipad baseband, on clicking next redsnow crashes as soon as it starts count down for DFU mode. What should i do? i have already restored my iphone to factory setting.Thanks

@skellybrap Go to your "windows task manager" and click the "processes" tab, find "redsn0w", right click, scan down and click "set affinity", check only "CPU 1", restart redsno0w and it will not get hung up on uploading ramdisk. You will need to do this every time you start up redsn0w

@jacobasael then use redsn0w and select "instal ipadbaseband" again. its how i fixed my phone. and u can also can use a "universal simcard unlock". its realy simple. but doing that will require u to use the "pwnage tool"(select "bypass AT&T actavation on itunes"). idk how u take the ipadbase band off, but my friend said he can wipe all the data of my phone and put everything back on(i did not have anything on that phone)

He told me to come back after an hour, and I come back the bugger has changed so much the wifi was dead, he says your phone wifi is dead so cannot unlock. I use the way that unlock without wifi right?. I did use redsn0w already and I have cydia in my phone but can not access internet. If my iphone has wifi so it is pretty easy but they said wifi: no wifi that why I can not use Ultran0w in cydia. I used Root-Var-Media-Cydia-AutoInsta­ll-paste two thing ...in side but when I rebooted they show "shutdown false" two time same. And Firmware does not change to 6.15.. Thank you for supporting me.
