Uniforms and everything extremely accurate, I actually thought it was proper footage for 10 seconds until I realised the sound was too good for that time and then saw the description.
Pretty good contact with charlie radio operater look like Hal Moore's in We Were Soldiers .Look like anyhting else I've seen in the reenactment next war movie about Nam might need yall for tech suppport :-)
Haha. Thanks for the compliment. This is exactly how our reenactments go. The camera was just following us on a sweep and clear of a village. Glad you liked it!

Wow! Welcome home brother! Really nice to get this email from you! Hope you are happy and well. Our dear Bummy Baumgartner who was with us for this operation was D 2/5 from 69-70 in the same area. Our interpreter Sgt Nyguen is from Tay Ninh and and fought for the south from 1970 to 75 until he was captured by the NVA. I want you to know that we are all so very proud of you and your sacrifices. THANK YOU! Please stay in touch!
I really admire people in US Military for keeping this world in one piece.I wish I could live in the States to do my part in making this world a better(more peaceful) place. You can see a few vids of my team tactical excercises if You wish on my profile - we didn't use a lot of US gear during those trainings - It would be a shame to destroy it;). We're changing gear at the moment.I intend to buy MCCUU 'cause I've already got an IBA:D(certainly with kevlar inside!) BEST WISHES!!!
All of your reenactment videos are simply amazing! I wish we could use real weapons with blanks here in Poland.I'm a leader of USMC reenactment group. I believe that Vietnam War veterans appreaciate your work.I am.Best wishes from Poland!!
Wow, buddy. Thank you so much! We are so lucky to be able to portray the Vietnam Veteran through reenactments with the tools we use. We are also so blessed to be able to have a few of them participate with us. The older guy in the vid I am talking to just before we move out from the village was in Nam in our actual unit D 2/5 as a machine gunner and RTO in 1970! Our interpreter was in the ARVN 25th Division as well! Very best wishes to all of you for keeping our Father's memories alive!
On day one the first thing I learned in Vietnam was never walk down a trail. I guess you guys are having a fine old time-it wasn't fun.

this is the first reenactment on youtube I've seen that I've actually liked, all of it except the "Platoon" quote by four-eyes.

Best way to get out of an ambush is to put as much fire on it as you can ans assault through it with everything you have !
Herbymac0811 3 years ago
It depends, we were always trained to get out of the kill zone as soon as possible.

So realistic it would be mistaken for a documentary. Great acting!

Thanks. It was just filmed as it happened at the re-enactment. Nothing was acted. This is just what we do.
