That looks nice, I don't like covergirl mascara, you have to coat a different mascara on top to get it more dramatic, bought this mascara today at Safeway for $4! What a difference the xxl and the cg one!!!

you have really nice lashes without any mascara on! especially lovely thick bottom lashes, mine are really sparse. i think the lash blast, which you cant get in uk, is like colossol. ive tried colossol and the xxl and think the xxl is much better with less clumping. i like how your review isnt full of you talking all the time! really informative, to the point but still interesting

wooow I really like and that difference of both mask and the other I'm also grabbing a fan of me or as maebellin type: P jaja me define A lash volume purchases in brown for everyday that I like my eyelashes and leaves taught me that you buy that, but mine says CURL POWER, by which curved my eyelashes for longer which is what I seek when I go out with friends over dinner and arranged things like that :)

Yes Yes I love this mascara, all of them, the gold, purple & blue! I swear by these. It helps if you want the full lash effect. You can get a Kim Kardashian look without the hassle of the falsies!!

let the white primer dry before you put the black one. just like paint it mixes when it's still wet. hope this helps :)

I didn't feel that it weighted them down. It's a pretty damn good mascara. Look at it this way, the white is another coat of mascara, so in the end you'll have 2 or 3 coats of mascara =)

Yes, very easy & I use the Waterproof one.

I use Clinique's "Take The Day Off" Makeup Remover =)

@miszannieee removing in my opinion might prove 2 be a lil bit more trickier but...don't despair....just leave for 10 secs your makeup remover on your eyelashes...close your eyes if you want...then remove!

Yes I bought this when the first XXL came out a few years ago - I LOVE IT! and I've bought lots of mascara from the VERY epensive name brands to the least expensive - this is a VERY VERY good mascara.

I have this mascara and it kinda made my lashes too long (Since I have naturally long lashes) and the tip of my lashes touch my eyelid leaving black dots! lol But I still love this!

I may be the only one that thinks this but I prefer your lashes with the Lash Blast more. The Lash Blast really brought your lashes out. And the Maybelline XXL made your lashes looked feathered out. Just my opnion.

try an eyelash comb with it when its almost dried!

this mascara works for you because you have long eyelashes I have short eyelashes and I've used this mascara it just clumps all my eyelashes together it doesn't work for me at all

how long does it take for the primer to dry?

not much... maybe 30 seconds.

I usually just prime the lashes on one eye then as I apply the primer on the other lashes the first eye's lashes are drying so it all kinds follows through =P

Thanks! I really love this too. The trick is to build up the mascara. Don't be afraid to go for 3 coats or even more! I know I don't!

No fallouts at all, it's perfect. Mine's starting to clump a bit because I had gotten it a long time ago but never used it till now lol, But it is an awesome mascara ;)

there is also another excellent mascara 4rm maybelline called lash expansion and it makes the eyelashes really long full and dramatic looking espicially the waterproof cuz it has more wax inside!!! i love that one!!

same! i found the curved one harder to use.. it was clumpier too for some odd reason. i didn't like lash blast either! it didnt add any volume at all and made my lashes weird! have you ever tried l'oreal voluminous? it's pretty good too... loved this review.. the pictures were fabulous :)
