  • Excellent ideas and great strength displayed. I like the idea of including neck-strenghtening exercises into the plank training. Since I do not have a partner to resist my plank, I may strap a rock or other weight to my head.

  • i like this

  • why is your butt so high, in a normal plank isnt your body in a pushup position and your arms are the same as in this video?

  • @geobros its probably b/c he has pre existing lower back issues. You might have the ability to deadlift 1000 pounds, but that doesnt guarantee you th ability to hold a plank. Thats a fact. I teach yoga, jujitsu and speed drills to Pakistani athletes, those with similar issues are allowed to do the easier variants as he is demonstrating. The imp thing is to make the exercises they can do very challenging each time to avoid muscular imbalances.

  • @geobros You try with your butt higher when you do your plank. I am sure it is going to push your abs / core a little more with butt higher :)

  • Nice... in my body conditioning class we do some crazy shit... but never neck excersises... rofl... we do the just planks where u keep ur back straight which works on ur abs and ur back. and about the lifting leg thing, if u lift the opposite arm... it gets even harder
