@chicagocanine I think it's more the fact that they are obstructing his sight, and generally just getting in the way, so the big daddy's trying to get rid of them.

@chicagocanine well, where one of those holes are for the big daddy to see... you know, the ones that glow yellow from light... or something... it's missing. So the bee's got in to his suit from there. Because when the guys takes the gun and aims it as the big daddy, he aims at the hole... and that's how he killed him, by shooting inside the suit from that exposure.
