@Jasonvoor Alonso is a cheater, he whines about people beating him, and to be honest he only wins races when he has the best car... Kubica almost killed himself by driving head-on into a massive frickin wall!!!
@philateliceun What Vettel has proven so far is that he is able to Qualify at the front, and lead from the front in the best cars. But what Hamilton has proven is that he is an incredable risk taker, and overtaker and that he is a great wet weather driver.Vettel is a great Driver but hes not as good as Hamilton who is the better racing driver.
@philateliceun Vettel never overtakes but when he does try, search this on YouTube (Vettel hits button 2011) send me a link to a video of vettel actually doing a proper overtake, then ill accept your terrible comment...
@philateliceun Horrible driver? so what the fack are you doing at a Hamilton overtake movie?? Deep in your heart you love this, but you're nutts are yo small yo admit it!
I used to watch F1 from the late 90's to early 00's and stopped watching it at the end of the 2004 cus i found it boring and rather predictable.. i started watching it again from 2007 and the reason for that is Hamilton.. he should be a double world champion at least and hes only done 5 seasons.. this year has been a bad year, made frustrating by a car not capable of winning a championship and some mistakes by hamilton. but hes one heck of an overtaker and blisteringly quick, just like senna was
Fuck DRS!! This is what I call overtakes! Gilles Villeneuve, Ayrton Senna, Juan Pablo Montoya and Lewis Hamilton were made from the same cloth and are the most fearless racers EVER!!!
There was another overtake he pulled on Vettel in China which was damn cool. It was cool because it was in a corner where you just don't normally overtake and it was for the race win.
Oh, would you look at this, he can overtake without the use of DRS... Fu**ing F1 with the new stupid rules. Now the only thing that matters is that you know how to save tyres, and overtaking is as easy as in a computer game with the drs shit....
hamilton is great, but that success is partly due to his first companion in mclaren, alonso. hamilton said he learned a lot from him, but he still has a different style.
...(probably, one of the top five of Jam's childish acts)
That video is about Luis Jam-on...which was so stupid to touch during a career the:
. -->> (STOP THE CAR - BUTTON) <<--.
Probably he thought in that moment: McD-aren gave to me the posibility to stop the car of Button, my companion, as with Alonso, but this time from the car??.
It was a pity that he didn't remember that his name wasn't Button...
Hamilton is the BEST driver currently on the grid and videos like this prove it. If Lewis had a car like Red Bull he would have clinched the title with 10 or more races to go...Unlike Vettel who the only thing he can do is leading the race from start to finish from pole because he drives a vastly superior car,Lewis is the definition of a true F1 champion who knows how to overtake at anyplace, anytime, with or without KERS or DRS. I wish Mclaren could give him a better car though.
great vid hes the best thats why theres so many who dislike him to he'll never race for ferrari just out of principal ferrari the bully hamiltons like being the under dog who you doubt then suprise suprise you get your ass handed to you all the same
Lol im sure that kimi wasn't trying to slice hamilton's rear tyre, he just wanted to do something like a late apex and get better speed and then overtake lewis after eau rouge, but becoase track was wet, kimi underestimated that..
@BEPENO I do respect the ability that Hamilton has as a driver, but each pass in this video has a different context, and showing them for your own pleasure without worrying about the story behind them is simply a joke. Take that pass over a Renault, for example... in that season, Renault was so inferior compared to the Mclarens, that overtaking them in a race was literally an obligation.
Alonso is the best driver in F1. Hamilton has too much to learn. He's been making too many mistakes.
@enietto Hamitlon doesnt have TOO much to learn, he just has more things to learn. He's young and hasnt been n F1 as long as Alonso. He's good now and he will get better. 2011 season was an off season, Alonso has had them too!
@gaz10101 As I had said, I acknowledge the talent that Hamilton has a driver, and even think he is one of the best in F1 now, but Alonso is complete, and he's been making miracles with his dreadful Ferrari... even with the 2008 and 2009 Renaults, he managed to do some amazing things. @Ferrariman601 I'm certain Hamilton will drive for Ferrari someday as long as the Enzo spirit is still alive (though which lately, I've doubted). Enzo personally selected Mansell and Gilles for the same reasons people love Hamilton - they were pure racers. Maybe not always the fastest, or the best, but certainly had the never-give-up entertaining spirit.
@BEPENO awesome video! Hamilton for Ferrari would be brilliant some day, especially if he partnered Alonso again. Shit would hit the fan and it would be brilliant :D
@Ferrariman601 Buddy, you don't know what you're saying. I agree that it is exciting to see hamilton driving, but saying that Alonso had better cars than Hamilton in 2009 and 2010 is totally bullshit. In 2009 he had a doomed Renault and in 2010, Ferrari was not a good car either. As for overtaking, although I think Alonso and Hamilton are better drivers than Vettel, he proved this year that he is able to overtake. We have to acknowledge this.
@enietto I was speaking of Alonso and Vettel collectively. Vettel had a way better car than Hamilton in 2009, and I'd argue that the Ferrari F10 was slightly better than the McLaren MP4/25 (at least during the earlier part of the season). In terms of overtaking, Vettel has proven he can fight for position this year, and probably has done so better than Hamilton in all (I'm thinking of all those collisions with Massa).
@Bucoalmighty if he was trying to re take position, he would have moved out wide on the exit, it gives more traction, therefore more acceleration, and a good run down to Eau Rouge, which could have gave him an even better chance on the following straight
@F1guitarfanatic927 no he wouldn't. kimi stuck to the outside knowing that lewis will brake late into the inside. Being on the racing line, it would have given him a faster exit to re take the position at mid-corner, but lewis took his time and blocked the inside... a classic defensive move...
@gaz10101 the whole season??? I'd say buy/download (torrent) the season reviews, they are very good. You can take a glimpse of one in my channel, its the first part of a 3 hour review of the 2007 season. I'm yet to upload the rest.
@gaz10101 there are official season review dvds, going back to 2005. The have more press conference interviews as well, and have Ben Edwards as the commentator, who does a really good job, considering it's much harder to commentate on something you've seen before
if hamilton had of been driving a red bull last year , he probably would have won just about every race. He like fangio could , destroy the rest of field on his day , not just win , in silverstone in the rain he won by a margin of 47 seconds , lapping everybody apart from 2 and 3rd place runners. There is no-one else as quick as hamilton as a driver
this is the best video regarding f1 I have ever seen, the clips are all decent resolution, unlike most of the others where you have to struggle to even see where the cars are. well done!
Your video is good but you said in part 2 that he can overtake in a an inferior car here he overtook alonso who was in an inferior car. And you gave him big praise for it.
I'm a Ferrari fan since 1999 (since I was 8 years old :-)), BUT since Hamilton's first race back in 2007 I think that he is the best f1 driver together with Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel. In this four years I can remember so many stunning overtakes from Hamilton and so many breathtaking races, even in an inferior car (2009).
2010 I think, that the McLaren was only the third best car on the field, so he did everything that's possible, and he showed, that he is much better than JB.
'the Belgian farce' makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. What the hell were those numpties working for the evil overlord Moseley thinking - or were they at all?
@ImFasterThanTheStig yeah back then, we said that they looked ridiculous with all the aero parts, i wished we never said that!! And Lewis proves you don't need pansy front wings, KERS and moveable rear wings to overtake
Lol familiar prey, familiar results. YOU CHEEKY bastard...loved the video! Hamilton will be back to take the title in 2011. Alonso fans, get real son!
many people (English press) critized that let Massa pass Alonso in Germany, but nobody remerber that Kovalainen did with Hamilton in the same place two years ago. And I think that "overtake" shouldn´t be in this video.
@Tifossi95 It was under the "controversial" overtakes section. Anyway, Kovi did this of his own accord, there were no team orders. Different situation altogether.
@BEPENO yES pretty sure kovalianen said that he did it himself. in 2008 it was not possible to hear ferrari and mclaren communications but I dont see why mclaren would say something like what ferrari did this year since t he fia is always watching ;) .
@Tifossi95 you numbnuts, Heikki was in 5th place, Massa was 1st, big fat difference, Hekki was only ahead of Hamilton because of the SC before Lewis was 1st anyway. Lewis still had to PROPERLY overtake Massa and Piquet for that win, it was not handed to him you twat!
@Tifossi95 That wasn't ordered by the team, if he would have had to fight with lewis, the consequences could have been dire....Kimi let Massa through to second place in China 2008 in the same manner!
@Splitgames lol oh god not another alonso fan boy look im a lewis fan and i can appreciate fernado's talent and is one of the best in the field BUT as this is a overtaking video lewis climbs to another level man u cant deny that
Well about the Hamilton defense on Massa, Massa's pass would have stuck had he just braked a little earlier, Massa just missed his braking zone, and acting like Lewis did anything special there is ridiculous, the only thing lewis did was push him into the dirty side of the track when defending it. Which is what any aggressive defender would do. right idea by Massa he just executed it poorly.
Spa penalty is fine now anyway justice was served just this last weekend. Anyone who thinks that the stewards at Spa 08 made a good call fits into one of two categories - Ferrari Fan, Or Moron..... Often they're the same thing but I didnt want to be too judgemental! He gave the position back then was able to accelerate better after!
Seriously, Hamilton is a great driver no doubting it, but to try and portray him as an angel who can do no wrong is going to far. If anyone was a true racer it would be Kimi, I mean from 5:29 you can see Hamilton tried it on the inside and failed, and went on the run off area, after which instead of ceding the advantage he gained from this, he decided to continue the overtake on Kimi.
@BEPENO 100% to the rules, hence why Hamilton was given a penalty by the stewards during the race. Personally, all I can say is that in all the years I have watched F1 I haven't seen anything untoward in Kimi's racing, its never been mentioned to me by anyone else except by you. Hamilton's reputation for me is tarnished by events such as the Melbourne fiasco with Trulli, the infighting with Alonso etc. Kimi stays away from the politics and just races, thats why he's my favourite driver
@tarquintheflanker 100% to the rules at the time, hence the public outrage at the penalty. The rules were then changed to leave them not so open to interpretation. I'm not making Hamilton out to be somesort of angel. Most winners have their bad moments. Kimi, Schumi, Prost, Senna, Lauda, Mansell, Pironi, Arnoux, Alonso, Piquet etc.
watch?v=4-zEnO_KwDg plus other moments not documented in video. Kimi also attempted to damage Hamilton's car at La Source after the Spa '08 pass, noted here.
@tarquintheflanker HAMILTON'S REPUTATION HAS NOT BEEN TARNISHED AS YOU SAID THAT IT HAS. ALONSO HAS PROVED THE REAL TRUTH WITH HIM AND HAMILTON AT FERRARI THIS YEAR. WE ALL HAVE SEEN IT AND WITH TRULI, IF YOU CAN TELL YOU SELF THE TRUTH, HE DIDN'T MEANT TO LIE BECAUSE HE HAS ALREADY TOLD THE PRESS WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE TEAM ORDERED HIM TO SAY SOMETHING ELSE. KIMI IS JUST A NICE GUY BECAUSE HE IS NEUTRAL AND EVERY F1 FAN LOVES HIM
@freenap Kimi is a drunk asshole in my opinon!! I have always been a Mclaren fan and loved him even still after he went to Ferrari! I lost all respect for him when I saw video of him in China in 07 knocking down a little girl trying to get an autograph and instead of stopping and making sure she was ok, he turned back, gave her and her mom a dirty look, starts shaking his head and keeps on walking! Samething with him knocking down a photographer after he accidently stepped on his bag on the grid
@77rocksinger Martin Withmars knows kimi very good and he said that almost nobody know how clever kimi is...he just doesn't like interviews and he hates cameras and journalists...In his private life he is totaly different, he talks and smiles alot, he just hates paparazi, he isn't media bitch, he likes his privacy and that's why i like him, he doesn't want to be famous, he just want to race..true racer...
Bollocks. I know this was a while ago now. But what you can see is Kimi Forcing him off the track onto the run off area. Hamilton then "Gained an Advantage" from cutting the corner by being INFRONT. Hamilton then went back BEHIND Kimi, clearly giving the place back. Before being a better driver and overtaking him again at the next corner where it was unexpected. Many stewards have admitted that it was the wrong decision to penalise Hamilton, as have many pundits.
@B03durrary As the comment says in the vid - this would've been impossible without modern run-off areas.
1) If there been a wall at the chicance Kimi wouldn't have pushed Hamilton into it or they'd have both crashed.
2) If there had been a gravel trap at the chicance, Hamilton would've backed off with the attempt much earlier.
3) The rules were vague. The governing body failed the sport 3 times over and they knew it. So they do what they always do to hide this - they penalise someone else...
Dude this is a fucking awesome video...
think it might have just got me into F1,
always loved racing, and played racing games my whole life. Used to watch F1 when iwas like 6, but you dont realise how skilled they really are..

There is no-one else as quick as hamilton as a driver
chillers7 1 year ago 2
@chillers7 true... even alonso admitted that a few weeks ago... stating he's the fastest on the grid.

this is the best video regarding f1 I have ever seen, the clips are all decent resolution, unlike most of the others where you have to struggle to even see where the cars are. well done!
edis1992m 1 year ago

I hope you will make a video of 2011.
One of the best vids I've seen on youtube.
BTW: The cars looked so beautiful back in 2007 and 08, compared to 2009.
ImFasterThanTheStig 1 year ago
@ImFasterThanTheStig yeah back then, we said that they looked ridiculous with all the aero parts, i wished we never said that!! And Lewis proves you don't need pansy front wings, KERS and moveable rear wings to overtake

many people (English press) critized that let Massa pass Alonso in Germany, but nobody remerber that Kovalainen did with Hamilton in the same place two years ago. And I think that "overtake" shouldn´t be in this video.
Tifossi95 1 year ago
@Tifossi95 It was under the "controversial" overtakes section. Anyway, Kovi did this of his own accord, there were no team orders. Different situation altogether.
BEPENO 1 year ago 9
@BEPENO yES pretty sure kovalianen said that he did it himself. in 2008 it was not possible to hear ferrari and mclaren communications but I dont see why mclaren would say something like what ferrari did this year since t he fia is always watching ;) .
GO LEWIS GO MCLAREN
jraybay 1 year ago
@Tifossi95 you numbnuts, Heikki was in 5th place, Massa was 1st, big fat difference, Hekki was only ahead of Hamilton because of the SC before Lewis was 1st anyway. Lewis still had to PROPERLY overtake Massa and Piquet for that win, it was not handed to him you twat!
emptypub 1 year ago
@Tifossi95 That wasn't ordered by the team, if he would have had to fight with lewis, the consequences could have been dire....Kimi let Massa through to second place in China 2008 in the same manner!

4JUGE4 1 year ago
Seriously, Hamilton is a great driver no doubting it, but to try and portray him as an angel who can do no wrong is going to far. If anyone was a true racer it would be Kimi, I mean from 5:29 you can see Hamilton tried it on the inside and failed, and went on the run off area, after which instead of ceding the advantage he gained from this, he decided to continue the overtake on Kimi.
tarquintheflanker 1 year ago
@tarquintheflanker it was 100% to the rules at the time. They were since changed.
Kimi is one of the dirtiest drivers of his era, regularly brake-testing opponents. Just see what Montoya has to say about that...
BEPENO 1 year ago
@BEPENO 100% to the rules, hence why Hamilton was given a penalty by the stewards during the race. Personally, all I can say is that in all the years I have watched F1 I haven't seen anything untoward in Kimi's racing, its never been mentioned to me by anyone else except by you. Hamilton's reputation for me is tarnished by events such as the Melbourne fiasco with Trulli, the infighting with Alonso etc. Kimi stays away from the politics and just races, thats why he's my favourite driver
tarquintheflanker 1 year ago
BEPENO 1 year ago
KIMI IS JUST A NICE GUY BECAUSE HE IS NEUTRAL AND EVERY F1 FAN LOVES HIM
freenap 1 year ago
@freenap Kimi is a drunk asshole in my opinon!! I have always been a Mclaren fan and loved him even still after he went to Ferrari! I lost all respect for him when I saw video of him in China in 07 knocking down a little girl trying to get an autograph and instead of stopping and making sure she was ok, he turned back, gave her and her mom a dirty look, starts shaking his head and keeps on walking! Samething with him knocking down a photographer after he accidently stepped on his bag on the grid
craigg1981 1 year ago
@freenap sorry mate, not every F1 fan likes Kimi.......I think he's a pratt!
77rocksinger 11 months ago
@77rocksinger Martin Withmars knows kimi very good and he said that almost nobody know how clever kimi is...he just doesn't like interviews and he hates cameras and journalists...In his private life he is totaly different, he talks and smiles alot, he just hates paparazi, he isn't media bitch, he likes his privacy and that's why i like him, he doesn't want to be famous, he just want to race..true racer...

Ralleee 1 year ago
@tarquintheflanker if hamilton would of let kimi in the lead out of la source he would of got him on the straight after eau rouge
FATHY93 1 year ago
@tarquintheflanker
B03durrary 1 year ago
@B03durrary As the comment says in the vid - this would've been impossible without modern run-off areas.
1) If there been a wall at the chicance Kimi wouldn't have pushed Hamilton into it or they'd have both crashed.
2) If there had been a gravel trap at the chicance, Hamilton would've backed off with the attempt much earlier.
3) The rules were vague. The governing body failed the sport 3 times over and they knew it. So they do what they always do to hide this - they penalise someone else...
