  • Great work mate. Sounds and looks brilliant. Thanks for posting your vid.

  • did you need a power commander for this mod

  • did you need a commander for this mod

  • Hi tom, how much did you paid for those leo vince? thanks

  • $919.00,, shipping was $15.00 Total to get them at the house = $934.00... That was direct from Leo Vince in Richmond CA.... Item # 6359

  • Holy molly... wow... in case you want to sell yours, let me know. thanks!

  • @tomhjr63 dose anyone else see the irony in the price in the exhaust

  • is it slip on or full exhaust sounds nice btw

  • Those are slip on's,,, Thanks.............

  • yank out the baffles dude

  • nice man, i just ordered the two brothers dual carbonfiber slip on C4 for my 2007 919. i have never messed with exhaust before, is this something i could easily figure out myself? im mildly mechanical (only know how to d things i've done)

  • The exhaust is an easy job,, there are detailed instructions that come with it,, also you can look on-line for more help if needed.. I would recommend you have someone with you to help with muscle work and having a second pair of eyes on the job... Good luck and enjoy...

  • Nice bike! I just purchased a used one last Saturday, Aug 15th, 2009 with 1603 miles. The previous owner installed after market add ons. Dual headlights, Leo Vince pipes, sliders, and renthal handle bars.

  • I just put dual hindles with euro tips on man what a crazy grunt! use super sport pipes not stealth as soon as i figure out how to upload vids I will!

  • CB900F not CBR900F.. Great closeup

  • I hear ya, +1

  • Sounds awesome. I may pick up a friend's '06 919 soon. I like the looks of the bike better than my old '02 FZ1. The motor is nicer off the bottom too! Nice job!

  • Karl: Reckon what you like to eat in there?

Frosty Cream Employee: Well, the French fries are pretty good.

    Karl: French fried potaters?

Frosty Cream Employee: Yeah, French fries.

Karl: How much you want for'em?

Frosty Cream Employee: They're .60 for medium and .75 for large.

Karl: 'Reckon I'll have me some of the big 'uns.

Frosty Cream Employee: All right, then, one large French fries?

  • When I installed my LeoVince slip ons, I chose to cut the collector pipe out of there, rather than deal with removing the rear shock and all the rest. Pretty quick job that way!

You're right about the stock exhaust. It was just WAY too quiet. I bought the stainless cans, btw ... not quite as sexy as the carbon, but they sound as good.

    Gotta love the 919!

  • Awesome ideal about cutting the collector pipe off.. Spent most of my time removing parts to get that piece off,,, now that piece will sit in my attic for years to come. Thanks for your comment.. Looking at installing an aftermarket windscreen next,, from national cycle,, F-series,, F-16,, Dark tint....

  • If I should decide to sell my 919 (can't see it happening any time too soon, I like this bike a LOT), I'll have the pipe welded back together and re-paint it. If the new owner cares to put the original exhaust back on for some reason? Well ... he'll have all the necessary parts, and some wrenching to do!

  • nice hornet 900

  • Thanks !!! Haven't had time to do any more mod's,,,, but got some good ideals from "Super Sneaky Steve", if you haven't looked at his video, do a search for him, he has serveral "How to" Videos...

  • Nice video.

  • ok .. I will take a look at your videos

to see the projects, I am trying

make some changes on my bike

    Thanks for answering

    Excuse my English

  • Sounds great (both), I wish my bike was this quiet with stock :) And it's CB900F, without the 'R' ;)

  • Thanks for spotting the error. I did say CBR900F. That "R" just rolls out with CB!!! I also screw up when i talk about my CRF 450R.

Thanks again for looking at my CB900F......

  • You missed it the first time, but said it correctly the second time, but I posted the comment too soon :( You're welcome, I got a subscription setup on anything Hornet 900 related, I love the bike, but I'll probably never own one (want a bandit 1250 at the moment). I probably one of the few people out there that like the 900 better then the new fugly CB1000R. Enjoy your bike, it's one of the best 'standards' out there!
