  • @findthebeautyinyou yes that is true ( for air cadets right?) although I play trumpet

  • We have to play this for band comp. OMG it's so hard for clarinet....

    it's a beautifull march

  • we play this to in the royal harmony sainte cecile in the netherlands.

  • who composed is?

  • @Samsaysful Kenneth J. Alford

  • I marched onto the parade square to this tune when i passed out in 91. Still puts the hairs up on the back of my neck.

  • What I find interesting is the difference in tone between British marches and American ones. I remember when I was with the Marine Band out of 29 Palms, we got to play with a British military band. Our director told us we should sound more mellow and reserved, like the Brits. When we got the chance to mingle with their band after the gig, their director had told them that they need to sound more bright and lively, like the Marines:) I think that is an interesting cultural difference.

  • A march I actually like a lot. I remember this in 'Lawrence of Arabia'.

  • It's The Voice of the Guns, not The Voice of the Gun.

  • Will be attending a wedding , and the family is really odd. Perhaps this tune for the Bridal March would be more fitting.

  • This is such a great recording! Thanks for posting. Were using this song in our band and it is sooo intricate and presice.

  • Hey, is this a brass band?? Would you be willing to sell a copy or swap for one of our marches? Many thanks!

  • @magyk595 Note the similiiarity in style to Washington Grays by Graffulla. I believe it is also in the same key. Its a real ball buster of a march and gives cornets and euphs a chance to show off. I love it!

  • I love this march, thanks for posting - though this version is a bit fast and frantic for my taste lol.

  • This has to be one of my favorite marches of all times thanks for posting such a great audio version of it <3
