Good question - I admit i'm a bit of a n00b to Crowley. Slowly working on Book 4, and the Book of Lies. Been at it off and on for about a year. When I get the chance, and run across something specific in Crowley's writing, i'll see if I can get Lon's opinion on it. Big words from someone who confuses the Holy Roman and Universal Inquisition with the independent Spanish one - the former of course being responsible e.g. for the genocide of the Cathars in southern France.
