@MrKanda90 check your settings, you may have something set to go off when your idle. I never had this problem before though

it needs a certain plug in for something, try to install it, or switch to Firefox, its alot better

Facebook might be sending content something Safari 3 doesn't know what to do with or the content is sent in a format that is incorrect. Considering Facebook has some rather sloppy code, it could just be a bug that will be corrected in the next weekly site patch. However, it could also be that you are running an old version of Safari. I have Safari 4 for Mac and have no problems with Facebook chat.
