I think the practice of tattooing fish is awful. Who likes tattooed fish? Mainly those who can't properly take care of them. It's awful. Fish are so beautiful as they are. Tattooing and sticking them with dye ruins them. People see these fish at a pet store and want them because they have "I <3 U" on them. Do they know how to take care of them? Do they know how to cycle a tank? Do they know how to treat different diseases? Do they even know how much to feed their fish? No. Pathetic.

They started tattooing fish to get them to sell better. Those are parrot cichilds and are very aggressive and don't sell that well because you can't keep them in a community tank. Those fish are dyed different colors too. It's pathetic.
