I have a quesiton about the wiring on this gun. Some people say that the wires coming from the stock to the gearbox are completely invisible, but some reviewers say that they are slightly visible when the stock is folded. Are the wires completely invisible, or can they be seen when the stock is folded? Thank you for this great review.

@krdans sadly no...echo 1 is getting their ass chewed out by fn herstal due to copying their guns(p90 scar H&L) without aquireing proper licensing. there are probably a few distributers that still have them but your going to have to look hard for it.

that is sick. at the beginning I was not sure about this gun but now I defenetaly gonna buy this gun. you know, you're so lucky in usa. 265$ is much less than the 475 bucks I've to spend in Canada. but I think you should put a barrel extension and a longer tight bore barrel, it should be way more accurate.

The sling mounts are plastic so do not use a sling with a metal clip or it will eat up your gun. Condor sells one with nylon straps instead of a clip. Trust me, I found out the hard way.

Cause I have the H version, and have for a while now. they do NOT have plastic sling mounds... -_- In Fact, it is probably the most solid metal on the exterior of the gun. Please, and I am not asking for some sort of smart-ass reply, Do your homework, and don't discourage others from getting a perfectly good AEG. Sure, it may need some upgrades, but it is an amazing gun. (do note though that the wiring is crap, get it re-wired with thicker wires.)

@DizrKake The ASC Heavy and yes it is plastic. I can send you pictures of how its marred and deformed after about 1 hour of metal sling clip usage. I purchased this rifle last month so it is possible that they have changed the manufacturing process. I'm not sure what "homework" you would like me to do. I'm pretty sure owning the rifle will suffice.

Wow. Beats my review. But this gun was a great choice. I compared this gun with a VFC... There is literally no difference besides the internals. (VFC's will last longer). The accuracy is the SAME? Seriously even when I put a weaker spring in this gun it still has the same accuracy of a VFC! With a few extra bucks spent on upgrades you have a better gun. Plus the hinge plate always seems to break on VFC and E1 models. Bad design on their part. But any appoxy gel can fix that.

I picked this rifle up recently, only major complaint is that the sling mounts are ABS plastic so if you use a sling with a metal clip it will scrape away and weaken the sling mount and surrounding parts of the stock.

I must ask, just to set the record I am a noob at this so pardon the question: So do most AEGs and Springs (like the sniper rifles: I say this since they have powerful FPS) can be converted to a Gas blowback and all you need is a gas kit? or are there limitations?

@Thereisalwaysmore actually, no, there are select VFC models that can be converted to gas with the new air rifle box kit theyre releasing... which costs a f ton and is kind of impractical, but AEGs and Spring sniper rifles are WORLDS DIFFERENT from gas rifles. Gas rifles are near identical to the real steel, considering which company u go for, i have a G&P WOC and there is NO WAY you can fit AEG parts into it. theyre worlds apart, go watch it on youtube, ull see plenty of vids

Look not to sound like a troll or anything but I swear people only put that damn Holo sight with the magnifier because of MW3. It seems cool but mainly it's pointless because rarely people look down their sights and just see their BB's going down. Also even if you use that magnifier, it is rarely that you will be able to hit the person at long range with certain rifles such as this SCAR-H. I may be wrong but this is just my perspective of this but anyway this is a great review of this Echo 1 mo

2nd people look at their stream of bbs usually in big fields lets face its a bigger field, these sights are perfect for cqb fields mine work great.

3rd I dont mean to be too straight forward brotha but it kinda does sound like trolling to me if you havent experienced these first hand and saying people get these because of MW which believe me it has nothing to do with it.

I highly recommend not to miss that channel. just a warning to anyone who gets this gun, do not run a lipo. I literally melted my trigger contacts, and now the trigger pull is insanely hard. Okay gun, not one of Echo 1's best, but decent for the money.

Yes there can put trades on the guns but some comapany's like WE (some of there guns), KSC, Marushin, JAC, Kokusai (do not exist any more), MGC/Omega (there do not make airsoft guns any more) put trades on there guns with out help from CG, Umarex etc.

look, i am all for you as an airsoft reviewer. just lose echo 1 as a sponsor. i saw all your other reviews and they were fine. then i see this, compared to other videos i saw the echo 1 scar h shooting at about 10 rps. not just one, about 4. and they say that the scar h shoots at 400 fps. i am guessing someone made a spring change in this tradeoff. oh and i did not see any proof in this video that the stock actually locks. sorry for being a buzzkill, you are still a great reviewer.
