Obama managed to do nothing during his 2 years in the senate,and the media seems to think that running a 20-month campaign qualifies you to be a better leader. Fact is,Obama and Sarah both can be charged with under-qualification, but at least Sarah ran a state,while Obama ran an Acorn lawsuit and a Bill Ayers dinner party.

The problem all along has been that they have tried to make her something she is not. If they would have come out with she took on the corrupt republican establishment and won, that would have been fine because it was true.Anything after that was and is half truths and lies.And notice that the corruption was in the republican camp not the democrats so they had to be careful there. Also there seems to be a lot of republican corruption there. Now we have Ted Stevens on trial and troopergate.

Thanks for the info. I did look up the act. Citizens for Global Solutions has an easy to read short version on it. I recommend to others to read that first, then look at the act.
I am going to read the Anchorage Daily News. I hope for you guys sake the Alaskan gov. takes all of the allegations against Palin seriously.
I'm hope that most Americans know by now that Palin's Maverick speech was bogus. It was released to the press that the same person that writes Bush's speeches wrote hers.

Sarah Palin has come a long way from the convention. Everyone thought they knew her and the republicans practically worshiped at her feet. Since then we have had the bridge to nowhere, the Couric interviews, troopergate results,and many,many little white lies scattered through out. Now her poll no.'s are going down and she was booed as she dropped the puck at a hockey game last evening in PA. The look on her face was priceless. That's what you call an epiphany Sarah!

There was another anti-Palin protest yesterday, this time in the capitol, about 200 people (high numbers for Juneau!) in the pouring rain. Check it out on the Anchorage Daily News website, it's on the front page of the site as of Sunday Oct 12 11.16 AM ADT, "Crowd protests Palin outside state capitol."

There's an effort to recall her for ethical violations underway. Yesterday we learned that she's been charging the state per diem and travel expenses for going to church functions! I don't know which books she wanted to ban, supposedly it was a "hypothetical question", so I doubt any but her inner most circle know what she wanted to ban. Todd Palin did work for BP, but he also resigned after she won.

to ThisGirlRocker con't: There's a good article in today's (10/12/08) Anchorage Daily News (available online) debunking McCain claims that Palin is a "maverick" who took on big oil in Alaska as well. They talk big about her, but her record just doesn't fit the hype. There's another article on the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner website that seriously questions her record as a fiscal conservative as well.

Before I saw this video, I had the view that Alaska was a place to avoid. I am a Black American and I was raised in Mississippi in the 1960's, and I experienced things that will make your hair stand up. I was raised to care about people. My parents had 19 kids and when we had dinner, my mother would feed total strangers who came to the back door. I am tired of this race thing that has risen his head.

I thought Alaska was a place people once went to live in the last frontier. Northern Exposure attitudes with hard work as the backbone of financial success. Palin has in a few short months make Alaska seem like this right-wing, lack of conscience, perverted Nazi land. I hope (and even pray) that she is either impeached as governor or fails to be re-elected. Her refusal to answer tough questions proves she is a female bigot.
