@BMEZY cont'd another feat for storm is when she hurled a tornado on a weakend P, but u also have to consider that at the time S was about 16-18yrs old, and was extremeley weakened from battle, and was weaker than P (i assume), the mere presence of a tornado will leave u in awe if u ever seen one in person, tornadoes can be 1/2- 1 1/2 miles away and the winds from it will still draw debris towards it, now, assuming that S made a F1 tornado around P, is still big bcuz, 1 S is extremely weakened

JG "lawyer"... i have a question.. in what way is S stronger than P besides her being DP (and if you really think about it.. jean was only DP over the span of a couple of days.. that's the only amount of time when she wasn't herself and "out of control" as you say... jean is currently the White Crown.. or the phoenix force itself.. with the human compassion and strength/will and experience (4 decades) to wield this power effectively.. her feats are unmatched :)

@BMEZY cont'd another feat for storm is when she hurled a tornado on a weakend P, but u also have to consider that at the time S was about 16-18yrs old, and was extremeley weakened from battle, and was weaker than P (i assume), the mere presence of a tornado will leave u in awe if u ever seen one in person, tornadoes can be 1/2- 1 1/2 miles away and the winds from it will still draw debris towards it, now, assuming that S made a F1 tornado around P, is still big bcuz, 1 S is extremely weakened

she is willing to push towards what is needed it,etc,and jean does have a force-field
but storm has a whirlwind and just like any whirlwind it will blow things away or it will
spin things around it and lightning moves vary fast as fast as one can blink there eyes,
so Jean would need to move fast for example a telepathic blast would knock storm out
but if jean does not move fast enough then storm summon something!

@yayar101 Phoenix is basically Jean's untapped potential.. The PF has always been with Jean, even when she didn't have access to it, it was still there but dormant. It was part of her mutation. Its an unconscious universal force that is part of her. her true mutant power is to be able to tap into the phoenix force; jean was actually born to be the phoenix; there were no phoenix avatars until she awoken the phoenix mutation within her..

@yayar101 what really makes me a Jean Grey Fan flag waver is She stays true to herself and to the X-Men even though she's now more powerful than them all and could just go off and create chaos or a new utopia. Jean isnt perfect and it took time and sacrifice to grip her powers, relationships, and life. Finally the Best thing about Jean is her strong willed mind, loyalty and strength it took for her to weild the Phoenix Force and keep her sanity and not betray and destroy her x-men.

@BMEZY Because the phoenix choose a weak vessel to begin with. In essence the phoenix is suppose to be an enitity which can choose who to inhabit. Therefore jean doesn't hold a candle to Ororo. Not to mention, people mistake storms power to be completely earth based. Whos to say Storm can't control space weather as well? .. Oh whats that? a black hole! ... Bye bye pheonix. Storm wins.

My point is, storm has only seen action on earth, but since she is telepathically linked to the weather, then it stands to reason that shes capable of producing space weather as well. In which in essence is a form of a solar *storm*. While stars do create them, they are not the source -to- them. You might want to check up on your science, not to mention physics as well. @BMEZY the Phoenix embodies passion, it was love and compassion that gave Green Phoenix the strength to bind the M'Kraan cyrstal and it was the dark impulses, rage etc... that sent the Dark Phoenix mad enough to be pegged second only to the creator, without a host or avatar the Phoenix Force is more like a computer and pure power and jean was able to constrain and control this heavenly creature for more than 3 decades... (excluding the dark phoenix saga)
