The attacker had no provocation to confront and assault Steve except for the fact that he turned out to be a pigeon shoot supporter which Steve did not even know until the stranger confronted him.

As the victims of these assaults, we're the ones who get charged, then have to waste time, etc. going through PAs questionable legal system to appeal.

Im very enjoying your message and your videos, but I can't help but wonder why you don't try to defend yourselves when attacked? I'm also a firearms enthusiast and concealed carry license holder. There is no sense in NOT protecting yourselves. All it takes is one good hit in the head and you aren't right after that. I understand why the pigeon shooting could be taken as animal cruelty, because it is not in fact hunting. You misunderstand the difference between shooting things for the sport of it, and hunting. Hunting is where you make sure the animal has a clean, quick death, with as little pain as possible. Trophy hunting, or shooting animals for fun, is a disgraceful activity associated with hunting.
@ModernTubefare We don't misunderstand anything. Mr. Hindi, the man attacked in this video, was a big game hunter for years before waking up and founding SHARK. It was a pigeon shoot he stopped to check out that became his epiphany.

I am in no way condoning behavior of the gun clubs, but with that aggressive behavior portrayed by them it would be wise to be a little more cautious in your approach. I think "animal kindness" is paramount in situations such as this one, but don't get carried away with the cause. Many younger people such as myself just being 18, I find no better enjoyment or stress reliever from school in an event like hunting and putting renewable resources of Gods gift in nature on my plate.

@bentgrin Steve wasn't on private property, it was a public path. The police were called after the attack and they said they would not come up the path; Steve had to walk out to meet them. And they took their time getting there. Yes, we get things done. Less people show up to shoots, one planned shoot was cancelled this past weekend and everyone went home when they saw our bank of cameras at the ready. Laws won't be changed until politicians get out of bed with the NRA.

@neyrd1 The NRA supports pigeon shooting. It uses contribution money to lobby politicians to vote against any measure to ban these particular shoots. A pigeon shooter we've highlighted, Leo Holt, has sat on the NRA Board of Directors. This is one of the NRAs favorite projects to support. My boyfriend hunts but even he thinks pidgeon hunting is disgusting- he's a firm believer in letting the animal get a chance to flee just as it would happen in the natural world (minus firearms of course).

I understand why the pigeon shooting could be taken as animal cruelty, because it is not in fact hunting. You misunderstand the difference between shooting things for the sport of it, and hunting. Hunting is where you make sure the animal has a clean, quick death, with as little pain as possible. Trophy hunting, or shooting animals for fun, is a disgraceful activity associated with hunting.

I am in no way condoning behavior of the gun clubs, but with that aggressive behavior portrayed by them it would be wise to be a little more cautious in your approach. I think "animal kindness" is paramount in situations such as this one, but don't get carried away with the cause. Many younger people such as myself just being 18, I find no better enjoyment or stress reliever from school in an event like hunting and putting renewable resources of Gods gift in nature on my plate.

@bentgrin Steve wasn't on private property, it was a public path. The police were called after the attack and they said they would not come up the path; Steve had to walk out to meet them. And they took their time getting there. Yes, we get things done. Less people show up to shoots, one planned shoot was cancelled this past weekend and everyone went home when they saw our bank of cameras at the ready. Laws won't be changed until politicians get out of bed with the NRA.

A pigeon shooter we've highlighted, Leo Holt, has sat on the NRA Board of Directors. This is one of the NRAs favorite projects to support.
