  • I don't understand the big deal with cheese and french! Like Dexter and Omelette du fromage(btw it's "de") Freakazoid is hilarious

  • Isn't he pronouncing it completely wrong?

  • @Jenstamborijn French to the rescue here. He's pronouncing it really well ;)

  • @Hapistozic Damn I've been pronouncing it wrong my entire life :( is it Canadian maybe? The "coupé" sounds really weird :s

  • It's even funnier as it's perfect french

  • @pwnsaurus Eh, no. You have to pronounce your r's like a drunk scot.

  • @shawa666 Where the hell have you been hearing french? o_O

  • @pwnsaurus Quebec.

  • @shawa666 but this is European French not Canadian French.

  • I miss the deep and meaningful plots of the 90's.

  • @Caladors Me too, especially when they make who 'cut the cheese' all fancy.

  • In the middle of French class I asked the teacher this. I got detention. :/

    I never get cool teachers

  • i am gonna say that when i go to france

  • haha i remember my pit instructor told us about this!! also started the joke "je m'appelle le fromage" Haha good times XD

  • I watched this when I was like 10 and I will always remember this phrase.

  • @cornelius600 This was the first French phrase I learned. I took it for 8 years, and of all the useful stuff I learned and promptly forgot, this has always stuck with me haha

  • @packersfan117 OMG ME TOO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • XD "Frenching with Freakazoid," "Who cut the cheese?" haha

  • I said this to my group of friends in world history class and they were laughing so hard that the teacher couldn't shut them up. Thankfully he is an awesome teacher and made me say in front of the whole class and everybody was cracking up until the end of class. Now there is an ongoing joke where I would say it at times that are not apropriate just to make the class laugh. My teacher gave me the nickname "le fromage"(if that's how you spell it) ever since.

  • this saying has stuck in my head since it came out in the 90's!! lol amazing!!

  • I should tell my french teacher about this :D

  • @Mungii50 Well he pressed a code that made him know everything on the internet, would´nt you be a lil´cuckoo if it happened to you?

  • COOL AND NOW I CAN SPEAK FRENCH TOOO!

    FROOOOMAGE POWER!

  • so many innuendos in kids shows....

  • I guess 10 ppl don't know who cut the cheese

  • @lordkamper I suggest they contact their doctor, that's a serious health issue right there.

  • Qui a coupé le fromage

  • fwomaaaage xDDDD

  • "Hello class! How are all of you? Good. And now, the lesson today, who cut the cheese."

    Didn't use babelfish.

  • FROMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGEE.

  • I can't believe you have this! I remembered about it a few weeks ago while talking with my sister and I had totaly forgot it was freakazoid who said it. I love this clip! LOL!

  • Did anyone else think something different before watching this?

  • I completely did not get this when I was younger. Now I do! :D They really don't make kid's programming like they used to.

  • OMG. LMAO

  • Im asking my old french teacher this next time i see her XD

  • @Mungii50 He's not an idiot, he just lost all sanity and is very random all the time. So thats the reason why he's funny.

  • Omelette Du Fromage!

  • @Pinokio131 thats from dexters laboratory

  • @Pinokio131 hah! i remember that!

  • That title has more than one meaning, LOL xD

  • ...ok?

  • oh la le stereotype !

mais c etait marrant quand meme

  • Ahh I miss this show :D

  • FROMAGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! XDD Get it out of my head! NOW!! XDDDDD

  • i used to say this all the time....

  • It's just random humour :D

  • To cut the cheese means to fart.

  • Who cut the cheese is another way of saying "who farted". lol

  • Fromaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggeeeeeeeee

  • I had that stuck in my head once, and it drove me crazy and made me laugh my head off. Just imagine that going through your head constantly:

    "Fromaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggeeeeeeeeeee."

  • I finally get the "Frenching" joke after all these years lol

  • haha, yeah

  • I finally get the joke after Frenching all these years.

  • They made this skit just so they could call it "Frenching with Freakazoid," didn't they?

  • lol. frenching

  • @TimAJH

    More than likely...

    ans its still funny

  • @TimAJH YES! :D

  • best skit ever!!!

  • I LOL'D.

  • fanciest fart joke ever done.

  • @UCONNgirl Knowing is half the battle! :D

  • All the French I ever needed to learn I learned from Freakazoid.

  • ^_^ I like his facial exspessions when hes saying "who cut the cheeeeese"

  • du froMAAAaaahge.

  • My childhood.

  • pretty much

  • BEST childhood cartoon ever

  • Yeah but oh well, make it more fun for me! :D

  • It's probably part of the joke ._.

  • Five years before this skit aired a friend and I did a similar gag as part of a "use the past tense properly" class exercise. I said "Qui a coupé le fromage?" and my friend said "Qui a fait une merde?"

  • I remember I said that to my french teacher once in front of the class, but I didn't know what I was doing back then.

  • This remind me of an episode of Dexter's Laboratory when he makes a machine to teach him french and all e can say after is " Omlletdu Fromage"(I doubt that's spelled correctly.) Why do cartoons characters love the word "Fromage" so much? YAY FOR CHEEEZ. Yay.

  • Frenching. LOL

  • AHAHAHAHAHA FRENCHING WITH FREAKAZOID!!!! Get it? This show was sooo witty!

and he does a pretty good accent, if you ask me...

except when he says "fromage"... and a couple o' other words... XP

    Je l'entend bien!!!!

  • Bon ne vous vexés pas mais vous allez devoir travailler beaucoup plus que ça si vous espérez pouvoir vous faire comprendre en france. Good luck english people and "Who cut the cheese ?" ;)

  • Son accent est horrible. Il parle avec un accent italien !

  • sorry, we don't get to hear allot of french accents, but we live right next to Mexico! but wait. we also live right next to Canada. pity.

  • hey are you saying it's a pity to live next to canada or how ya don't here accsents mutch

  • to not hear accents. and maybe that i live next to Mexico instead of Canada. the giant fence is a waste of materials, ya know. o_0u no terrorist in his right mind is gonna trek through the desert for miles, climb a fence, trek to the high-way, get picked up hitch-hiking, and all with a BOMB strapped to his chest. and they say more crazies come over the Canadian border. i think the fence is just politicians being racist to Hispanics.

  • you know what's even worse americans get away with that and after ww2 candain military cleaned up to help Europe after the war and american had just fought everybody, that is the reson other countries treat canada with more respect, that and americans, and they put on the same flag pin so us canadians get kinda... jipped no offence to you but i am angry with some history

  • They made the fence to try and keep the illegal aliens out to help preserve some of the jobs they take, because they are "under the table", which actually makes the economy worse.

  • Not all of them work illegally, but some do at tax free rates.

  • lol wut.

  • terrorists aren't in their right mind

  • @enuneko No, minds aren't in their right terrorist.

  • @killytbe6 What?

  • /O_O * has been watching a program called 'Sudan's Rein of Terror' all evening*

    *backs away, slowly*

  • Aw dude, I'm sorry. XDD I get into my college class of Philosophy mode and then...yea. Sorry I freaked you out like that.

  • Okay, so I decided to watch this video again after taking a month of French class. And holy shit, I actually understood it. "Qui a coupé le fromage?" is quite obvious already.

"Bonjour classe! Comment-allez vous? Bon! Et maintenant le lecon du jour-" (He rolled the r in jour a little, lol~)

Anyways, that basically translates to "Hello, class! How are you all? Good! And now the lesson of today is-"

C'est MON fromage! Pas votre! (I think votre is the wrong word) Translate that!

  • I'll translate that: That's MY cheese! Not yours!

By the way it shouldn't be "pas votre" it should be "pas LE votre"...

  • Really?

But wouldn't "pas le votre" translate to literally "not the yours?"

  • no. the "le" represents the thing that is "not yours"...

  • But then wouldn't the "le" be by "fromage?" Wow, I have a lot to learn xD

  • "le" and "la" are object pronouns, the closest thing to "it" in English.

  • That I know

  • Lmao, Frenching with Freakazoid.

  • I would "French" with "FREAKazoid" anyday, LOL *adult humor*

Bonjour, classe! Comment-allez vous? "Hello, class! How are you?"

I need to show this to my French teacher!

  • c koi? ¬¬

  • hahahaha!!! this and omelette du fromage (dexters lab) are the only french i know... hahaha!!

and its been on my head for so many years... :))

  • FROMAAAAAGE. XD

God bless stupid 90's cartoons. I wish the world wasn't so damn stupid now, cause those were the best days of my life. =(

  • Mine too. =(

  • "Frenching with Freakazoid" XD

    God bless hidden adult humor.

  • atomofish did you see the clip where why men shouldn't marry? "Its because i liked meat."

  • Yeah, its amazing what they got away with in cartoons back then.XD Too bad things are so PC now....

  • Qui a coupé le Fromage?

    Moi!

  • I Mean "Bonjour Class, Commo T'allez Vous".

    XDDDD

  • BEAST

  • I've always remembered this and the Norwegian lesson

  • Aww, son accent français est trop mignon !!!

This is so weird when you know French. xD

  • Freakazoid has taught me more than any other person I've met.

  • Qui a coupe le FROMAAAAARRGEE.

  • Haha. /Frenching/ with Freakazoid.

    Who wouldn't want that? >3

  • lol XDDD

  • hahaha this is the one thing i never forgot from this show!!

  • Hahaha "Qui a coupé le Fromage ?" Freakazoid is so so fun ! I miss him !

  • I came here expecting something completely different.....

  • Guilty of the same expectations! :D

  • I am French, I used to watch Freakazoid each time it was on TV. This video always makes me laugh with the very long "Fromaaaaaaage". =D

  • "Bojour Class Como Te Libu?"

    XDDD

    But Hi's Trying Sweet's Me.

    Hihihihihi!

  • "Bonjour Class, Commo T'allez Vous

  • I understand now, in France "Qui a coupé le fromage?" means just "Who cut the cheese?" and no "Who farted?"... hum... sorry... -_-'

  • thanks for supporting me, for supporting THE TRUTH.

I also accept donations (30$ will be fine :D )

  • I am french and "Qui a coupé le fromage ?" exist.

    Freakazoid c'est énorme!!!

    WHAT A FEELING!!!

  • WELLL its just about that time to go and repeat this at school for the rest of the year XD

  • lol such clever humor "Its time for frenching with freakazoid" LOL

  • Attention french people. We are quite aware that noone says that in France. Thank you. We get it. It's a french translation of a North American colloquialism dealing with flatulence. Cope with it!

  • Yeah, it's pretty sad that if anyone asks me if I know any French, this skit is what automatically pops into my head, haha. Oh well, it's still educational.

  • AAHH!!! Who cut the cheese!!! Who farted!!! Took me about 6 years to get that!!! :D I'm an idiot!!! WOOO!!!

  • the only french i ever learned was from freakazoid lol

  • me 2

  • J'aime Freakazoid! lol

  • J'adore Freakazoid!

    Haha.

  • LOL! It took me 7 years to realize that meant "Who farted?"!

  • according to babelfish (dot) altavista (dot) com, it means "who cut the cheese"... if it really means "who farted", then I won't use babelfish ever again.

  • It basically means the same thing. It's just an expression.

  • lol we know Im sure the writers knew also but cutting the cheese is an expression for farting and its just a joke on a cartoon!

  • For heaven sake !

    I know what I'm saying -_-|||

Great mentality of yours abrasivepaper69, to insult whitout knowing anything !!! (and thanks to the 6 who said "not good" to my comment >.> surely the insult just next is not spam or stupidity.

Of course the writers are not stupid but I surely say that there in so such expression in my MAIN language. Thank you -_-

    Buh.

  • this i a answer to the messages on the next page >.>;

  • You're right though - "Who cut the cheese?" is an American phrase that's come to mean, "Who farted?" They just translated it into French thinking that it was funny. Which it is, to a point. But yeah, you're right, if you said that to someone in France, they wouldn't have the same reaction as we would.

    Believe me, I've done it.

  • I'd french with freakaziod.. probabaly would have learned more than I did in my french class.. lol

  • Mrs. Turner aint got nothin on Freakazoid!!!

  • cut the cheese eh?
