@cornelius600 This was the first French phrase I learned. I took it for 8 years, and of all the useful stuff I learned and promptly forgot, this has always stuck with me haha
I said this to my group of friends in world history class and they were laughing so hard that the teacher couldn't shut them up. Thankfully he is an awesome teacher and made me say in front of the whole class and everybody was cracking up until the end of class. Now there is an ongoing joke where I would say it at times that are not apropriate just to make the class laugh. My teacher gave me the nickname "le fromage"(if that's how you spell it) ever since.
I can't believe you have this! I remembered about it a few weeks ago while talking with my sister and I had totaly forgot it was freakazoid who said it. I love this clip! LOL!
Five years before this skit aired a friend and I did a similar gag as part of a "use the past tense properly" class exercise. I said "Qui a coupé le fromage?" and my friend said "Qui a fait une merde?"
This remind me of an episode of Dexter's Laboratory when he makes a machine to teach him french and all e can say after is " Omlletdu Fromage"(I doubt that's spelled correctly.) Why do cartoons characters love the word "Fromage" so much? YAY FOR CHEEEZ. Yay.
Bon ne vous vexés pas mais vous allez devoir travailler beaucoup plus que ça si vous espérez pouvoir vous faire comprendre en france. Good luck english people and "Who cut the cheese ?" ;)
to not hear accents. and maybe that i live next to Mexico instead of Canada. the giant fence is a waste of materials, ya know. o_0u no terrorist in his right mind is gonna trek through the desert for miles, climb a fence, trek to the high-way, get picked up hitch-hiking, and all with a BOMB strapped to his chest. and they say more crazies come over the Canadian border. i think the fence is just politicians being racist to Hispanics.
you know what's even worse americans get away with that and after ww2 candain military cleaned up to help Europe after the war and american had just fought everybody, that is the reson other countries treat canada with more respect, that and americans, and they put on the same flag pin so us canadians get kinda... jipped no offence to you but i am angry with some history
They made the fence to try and keep the illegal aliens out to help preserve some of the jobs they take, because they are "under the table", which actually makes the economy worse.
Beh, Anyone can be a terrorist these days, and it doesn't even have to include an explosion. If they wanted to be sneaky, mix bleach and ammonia hide it, run the heck out of there, and let it sit in a closed room in some office. No one would suspect until it was too late. But seriously, don't try it, I'm just throwing out an example. XDD

aw, it's okay. that show made me cry. he dropped mustard bombs on innocent civilian villages. there were little boys who dropped dead with babies in tier arms, probably running away. after sudam was finally killed, over 400,000 bodies were found in mass graves. the bodies of all who ever threatened to oppose him. all this was happening during my lifetime, and i never even heard about it. i won't raise my kids like that, shielding them from the truth.
Okay, so I decided to watch this video again after taking a month of French class. And holy shit, I actually understood it. "Qui a coupé le fromage?" is quite obvious already.
"Bonjour classe! Comment-allez vous? Bon! Et maintenant le lecon du jour-" (He rolled the r in jour a little, lol~)
Anyways, that basically translates to "Hello, class! How are you all? Good! And now the lesson of today is-"
C'est MON fromage! Pas votre! (I think votre is the wrong word) Translate that!
Attention french people. We are quite aware that noone says that in France. Thank you. We get it. It's a french translation of a North American colloquialism dealing with flatulence. Cope with it!
Yeah, it's pretty sad that if anyone asks me if I know any French, this skit is what automatically pops into my head, haha. Oh well, it's still educational.
