  • Oh no, you have destroyed a good car!!! :o)

  • FWIW,

it did pretty well for a partial body between a wall and a forklift.

It was ruined but the passenger zone stayed pretty much intact.

    Also-

    better than a motorcycle,for sure.

  • split between the upper and lower half of the mold shows that secondary bonding is inadequate. If we are going to use composite construction in motor vehicles, then it's time to re-learn the basics. One of the more important things l, I know from boat-building is that strength of secondary bonding to already cured parts is always going to be an issue.

  • Either one uses special epoxies and seam designs, or the structure needs to be resin infused & cured as a single piece. IMHO - a better way of doing the one piece whole body layup is probably pre-preg and vacuum bagging.

  • wtf are ya making it or wasting time doing test on it

  • @Deuces824ev I'm pretty sure you feel safer on an suv... roll and play dead. BTW I've seen three crash rolls like with suvs. On the last one was due to just a tire that blew and my friend's face was totally desfigured. So yeah a 3 ton forklift and the living space on the body untouched. The guys that brought this company down are more dumbasses they are traitors serving the interest of the oil corporations that enslaved us.

  • dumbasses.

  • @stevefambro You are totally right. Thanks for working on your DMC Company to raise the capital to buy the Aptera Motors Inc. from these jackasses. Is it truth that there is an arrest warrant for Paul Wilbur for thief of money from Aptera Motors Inc. ?

  • @stevefambro I would still buy or built that car from scratch like you do a with a Burt Rutan's kit. Yet as far as Aptera goes someone should start a new company, call it whatever and sell one car at a time. It has been done and it is done with custom and kit cars. Why not this design? Oh yes and I'll sign all the waivers.
