Dude, settle the fuck down. It is a gun. You shoot it. He isn't going to go out and shoot down the entire town. Why do we need cars that go 200 mph? You don't, you'd go 120 mph max, but you have one anyway since it is all about the entertainment. With the gun, it is going down and shooting it, with the car it is going out and doing amature races.
I saw some US people with tanks. I understand you can buy that too.
Weird to compare guns to fast cars, like "soadrocker" said.. It's a bit hard to kill children from 1000m with a BMW and get away with the car in my bag..

This gun has a max range of 7500 yrds. with a M2 ball round at 647 grn. It weighs in at 35 lbs. BTW, private citizens are aloud to own them in most states, Ill. being the most recient to band these types of firearms
I wish England had the same laws to be honest. I used to use air rifles but I think there's more skill in shooting a target 2 miles away, especially if it's in a competition. The furthest target I shot with an Air Arms was 100 metres. If I was to buy a proper ballistic rifle i'd have to spend a fortune and go through stringent tests toi acquire a licence and only shoot at competitions. No freedom in that. End of the day it's just a love for most people, spoiled by the minority again.
armalites have earned a very good reputation here in ireland with the irish people.but not so good with the british soilders on the wrong side of the barrell. lol. a very reliable wepon favored by the irish freedom fighters here
The AR-18, yeah... but those were built under license in Japan and Sheffield. Then the original Armalite went bust and was resurrected (with poorer quality) in the 90's, I think. They've improved a lot since then but the ugly sheet-metal AR-18's are sadly long gone.
