In lotro there is something called "traits".. you earn them for by doing a class quest or using a spell a certain amount of times etc. Every class has 3 trait lines.. for instance, minstrels have dps traits, healing traits and buff traits. i play a champion, we have dps traits, aoe traits and single target dps and so on :) but most groups at higher lvls would want you to trait for healing if you are to join their group since minstrels don't dps as well as many other classes (champ, hunt, rk)

The best gear is any of the class end game sets. Do not buy the level 47 critted armour unless you make it yourself, every class has a different set of armour for different areas on the map, for the level 50's. Bosses drop some armour, but most isn't very good, also will drop weapons, most low level bosses won't drop anything good, but end game ones will. mobs drop, but almost always vendor trash. if u get a shard, keep it!
In wow you just lvl and put a talant point in the tree. In lotro you need to compleet deeds and get the point to put in the talant tree, much more fun.
But what i don't understand is that everyone is looking at what is the same with WoW and other MMORPG's and why don't look at all the difference between WoW and other MMORPG's, some are HUGE!!

Many of the ideas used in WoW(and many other fantasy games)are not original. Dwarves, Gods that can die, Teldrassil, Nordrassil, Elves etc all come from Norse mythology and many ideas that are used come from the works of J.R.R Tolkien, author of The Lord Of The Rings. I think that may of cleared up the LOTRO ripped off WoW debate, and plus WoW ftw :) havn't gotten a chance to play LOTRO.

theres a problem that they have come across with the hats was the hair would clip through the hat. and if they really wanted to make hair fit to every hat they would have to make specific designs for every hat and its color. the armor is good the hats aren't. the closest idea they have to allowing this would just to cut out the hair only in the part the hat covers. i really do hate hats so i just turn it off.
yeah and WoWs concept was the same as everquest so wow copied it to jesus wow is NOT the first and only mmo in truth everquest was the first mmo thus every1 copied it >> wow is not the god of mmos it just had the highest sales

They are some power-ups that appear sometimes in groups. I think that all players must choose the same button while this is up to unleash a powerful spell against the foes, although i have seen some combinations too regarding the color and order of appearance. Hope I am right.
i have been searching for a good free mmo have tried perfect world, runes of magic and shiaya but these seems like the best

Well levling is hard at some points and then it's important you enjoy the graphics, nice people and other classes :)

After playing the trials of both WoW and Lotro... i think Lotro is way better
Lotro gives me that feeling that I am doing this quest for a reason and not just boring grinding to the next level ~ Nimrodel Server

The best gear is any of the class end game sets.
