1956 15.5' Lyman & 1956 Johnson 30 hp out on Lake Erie

I just bought the same motor, I don't know much about it yet. can I use regular 87 octane unleaded in it or do I have to buy lead additive for the gas? I know it's a 24:1 oil ratio. But I'm not really sure about using unleaded gas.

I use marine gas....it is a higher octane and is actually gasoline....not as many additives in it.
