  • Sister I am concerned that you may have an abdominal hernia like I do It is never told to us women and I am 75 and just been told so passing it on It gets worse as we age so I want to inform you so you can ask for surgery if you want to Loved the video reminds me of my sister in Ohio always in the kitchen making goodies

  • Does she use oil under those? I did notice how it makes a dif what type of pan is used. She used a baking sheet but looks like she added a bit of shorteneing or oil for under them? I tried them tonight after loking up a recipe and they turned out wonderful, thank you for sharing.

  • Waynette you dug up an oldie. LOL Thanks for watching!

  • In America a Biscuit is a breakfast bread that is very soft & fluffy on the inside. We eat them with ham, bacon, Sausage patties or links or eggs & cheese. A Scone (here in America) is a heavy bread that is generally triangular in shape. Cathead is a Southern slang term for "home made" or "not pretty". You can 'lmao' all you want but you are not going to change the dialect of nation by scoffing & proclaiming derivative definitions. What you call biscuits we call cookies. Just different dialects.

  • no punt intended, but I like you with out beard.

  • Wrong glenna..."cat head" refers to the size of the biscuit. I was raised on those things.

That said....those biscuits in the video...are not "cat heads". They're too small.

  • Hey Glenna. Actually those were frozen Piggly Wiggly biscuits I think. LOL Thanks for watching dear. -jim

  • @CountryComesToTown Do you know for sure that they're frozen Piggly Wiggly biscuits? Can you find out for sure and let me know? They look great and thanks alot!!!

  • @shaneika30 She bought them at the Piggly Wiggly supermarket but I don't know what brand. It was six years ago. :) Thanks for watching!

  • Jim, why are they called cat-head biscuits?

  • It's a crazy southern expression. Supposedly because they are as big as a cat's head! Oh the things we rednecks say Beth. LOL

  • Okay, I figured as much. I remember my friend telling me the reason they called them "hush puppies" lol. I love those expressions.

  • We don't have Piggly Wiggly's,but everytime I hear that name it makes me laugh.:)

  • Jamie my family in Alabama all think that Piggly Wiggly in the one and only grocery store. We don't have them in Atlanta either however. Thanks for watching.

  • By the way Argent009 said they did an update and supposedly fixed the comment issue so THAT may be why they're going through now and nothing to do with punctuation or not...haven't tried it that way.

  • TonyDi I just typed in a comment with punctuation saying I was happy that YouTube fixed the problem but when I hit the post button it just vanished into thin air so if you have a problem give the no punctuation thing a try

  • Yum biscuits and gravy...what a tasty treat...Love good country cooking and just don't get it here in the city...thanks for sharing your Christmas morning with us
