This show looks alot more epic and mature, I like that they want to apeel to the first audiance that watched the first seiries, not a whole new generation, because thats when they go wrong. They figure original fans are older now, and if you didnt like the first one you wont like the second one. They arent trying to start over. So it wont suck like I feared at the begining!

I hope they make this series more mature and for teens since most of the kids that remember Avatar, are all teenagers. Dont get me wrong I still like Avatar, in fact I even read manga still since alot of manga / anime series are for teens and some adults. But now that I look back at avatar episodes they seem a touch childish, n stuff so im just hoping that they realize were all teens nowadays and make THIS avatar series more like bleach and less like naruto if you know where im coming from.

I suppose most people would say that's not enough change in the series, but I liked his character, and the characters that revolved around him, too much to see them try some sort of new take on the series that may fail miserably.

@yodudes2 The Fire Nation already made full use of the steam engine and even had steam-powered ironclads since the time of Sozin. The first ironclads only appeared in the late 1850s. This doesn't even include all of those steam tanks, war zeppelins, and that ridiculous drill.

Look at the changes between the 1850's and 1920's in NYC alone. Fire to electricity, horses to cars, and the tallest building went from ~6 floors to 57, etc.

Aang died of age/natural causes at the age of ~65. This might seem young but remember that he spent an extra century frozen in the Avatar state.
