One of the reasons I watched this show was their relationship and the possibility of it becoming deeper, but the producers came out and said they would never get together and with this new character, Steve, the token gay character, has kind of killed my interest in the show. So sad. Allison Scagliotti's quips still crack me up. I will miss that.

The First season was awesome because you didn't know what was gonna happen, Season 2 saw pete link up with Kelly (The Vet) but there were moments (glances) from Myka whenever Pete and her were together. Season 3 is a let down for me and as you say bringing in the token Gay dude is just a waste of time imo. I reckon once ratings drop the producers will soon change their mind. Forme the 2 best shows in this couple scenario are Castle and Bones and they are both going strong.

If in the 3rd season Mika possible was with Pete in the scenario.. all show was broke and uninteresting! The subtext it is the magic between characters. Pete-Mika Mika- H .G Wells , Artie - Claudia( sort of father-daughter subtext). These all relationships calling emotions brings them together as a nice show . I hope will continue with the same subtextual magic .

@Concetta20 That's how I felt when he first said he was gay, but I kept watching and by the end, the producers had actually made me feel sorry for Steve dying... Even though I was wanting him to from the start. lol.

Gees season 3 is realy playing on the Pete & Myka relationship complex. I like how it's they're feelings fo eachother are very very distant but you know it's there. Realy i never want to see together on the show.
