I got floor seats to Miley Cyrus' tour last fall in Anaheim. I was very pleased. I was in the 19th row and had a perfect view. I like floor m,uch better! (:
I was told to call back - maybe some more tickets would become available.
How does that work? Don't promoters/Ticketmaster know the amount of tickets they intend to sell?
The concert ticket buying experience should be very simple.
Customers shoudn't have to jump through hoops and should not have to deal with a company that formerly was against scalping yet know wholeheartedly supports it because they profit from it.
Many ndividuals all over the web have made similar complaints.
Yet, tickets were in abudance and available on Ticketmaster's scalping website Ticketsnow, among other scalping websites, within hours of the announcement regarding the Lady Gaga concert relocation.
Trying to get a supervisor at Ticketmaster on the phone I was given a hard time and actually hung up on. I called back , actually spoke to a supervisor who was unable to explain how many tickets were actually made available to the public with the second shows.
I recently tried to purchase tickets to a Lady Gaga concert in Michigan when the original concerts were moved to a larger venue from aprox. a 5,000 seating capacity to a 20,000 seat venue.
First, upon calling Ticketmaster they informed me that tickets were being held back for customers who purchased tickets to the orginal show in a presale.
I called back an hour later and was told that tickets were sold out.
I am a ticketmaster customer service representative., and I honestly think that the service that Ticketmaster provides sucks. I hate it when I answer the phone, and I have to say, "how may I provide world class service" if the service sucks.
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean! What about World Class Service to all the employees? They always leave us last, they don't realize that we make up a large part of the company and without us who will take those damn calls!!! .... For sure not the supervisors or managers!
ticketmaster secret No.1:If you are in the area, save yourself 20 bucks and go to the box office! (meet some people, etc.!).
No.2: At show time, you will probably get the same tickets tickets at the box office at half price! ..or even better tickets (the ones that "tickets_now" could not "re-sell" at astronomic prices!)
True what you are saying! Sometimes, I choose the level of my choice because they may have better seats than the Best Available.
I also choose the level of my choice either because the floor is General Admission/Standing Only or the Lower Concourse is cheaper than the floor or both!
my god your dumb... I work at ticketmaster and the promoter of the event ranks each section in order of what they think is the best... so best available is what the the promoter thinks is the best available at the time.. you wanted to sit in the stands thats just a matter of opionon.. and the amx presale is hardly a good example of this... amx only buys a selective amount of seats in various sections... Do some research before you put up stupid ass videos
DancinKayla, DavidT0222 You're completely correct! I work for the company too, it's definitely the promoters who control most along with the artist's representatives not Ticketmaster. Everyone out there who doesn't understand this, GET IT RIGHT before you call and complain about the website. Do you really think we care to listen to you wine? Hell No! We have you on MUTE laughing at you!
Strange, if the promoter ranks them, why would they release the front right section of a Dylan concert first when people sitting there will face his back?
the reason you got better seats on the lower level is because amex reserves some rows in certain sections and the system goes by best available from floor and then goes up.
first, it's not like you've cracked a TM conspiracy here, everyone knows this. next... floor seats show as the best seats because they are more center & floor seats sometimes have added benefits. seats in a lower concourse (100 level) are only a side view of the stage & are sometimes obstructed. the artist sets up the event (which TM doesn't do, by the way) and tells TM the best seats, choice #1-whatever. if you want other seats, call the phoneline, they can grab anything, i work there.
well thats just how the managers of the artist/show order the seats. it's not done by ticketmaster, and it's not a secret or a conspiracy. I know lots of people who'd prefer seat ticket to stand seats either way, because sometimes there are perks to floor seats, and you can usually move closer to the stage.

is this better the main event ticket guide at freeconcerttickets. weebly. com ? that info is free so just wondered what else i get with your video?

I'd love to be able to choose like that. The shows I buy sell out in 5 minutes and if you don't buy them you get nothing. Bad seat>no seat

your dumb its all random. Someone was looking at those tickets before and released them.

When you chose Best available. it is so random where the section is, so keep trying several times until you get a section you like.

Floor seats suck unless you're within the first 20 rows and are over six feet tall.

yeah, at TM a seat will be ranked higher quality when there are far better seats available, whenever you can, shop around.

Extremely true! Me, my mother, and my stepdad got 3 tickets in total by choosing the level of our choice instead of choosing best available.
