hey need some help here, Im planin to buy a 300zx tt but I asked the guy if the car will pass smog, well he said no since the car been sitting in his garage for a while. will it be xpensive to fix it up to pass smog..what other problems can from being parked for a while? let me know thanks..by the way it suck that you got ur 300zx taken..r u planin on getting another one?

Well if it's for like 6 months or more I'd say don't start it before you put a fuel additive. The gas can start breaking down and mess up your whole fuel system. If it's like 2 maybe 3, it's cool. But with smog a lot of things can be wrong that you could not know. It can cost a lot. If it gets to the point where it looks like crazy amount of money to fix it.....go get it "passed" by a shop.....haha illegal.....but effective. But take it to a good mechanic. Some people don't work on the Z...
