@honeygirl421 I agree 100% and one of them is suppose to wear glasses (minor detail) and Jupiter was afraid of heights i thought so why would he hang glide or sky-dive.

I was startled to see the Three Investigators being cast young boys; the book illustrations always had me assuming they were older, similar to the Hardy Boys. I suppose the change is to make them appeal to younger audiences. But then, being young boys explains how their guardians were always annoyed at their being late for dinner.

2007?  I never heard of this. I think it is great that that did a Three investigators live action movie. But when did it come out?

@imaginepeace63 It was released in Austria in 2007. There was a follow up "The Secret of Terror Castle" in 2009. There was a version of Terror Castle that aired on Disney XD in 2010. I don't think it was the same movie though.

Also for those who are wondering, in the original books the boys are said to be 13 or so. (In fact, Bob, the youngest, is said to be 13 in one of the books). In the latter series they are aged up to 16. So yes, these kids look a little young to me as well.

I would love to see this. But apart from Jupe and Pete, I don't think the boy who plays Bob looks like how I visualized Bob when I read the books imho.

Aren't you a little apprehensive, though? I mean, what if it spoils the way your brain chose to remember those childhood experiences? Personally, I loved the books, and I read them in the 80s, a little after then came out in the US and Europe. I thought they were far superior to the uncreative Hardy Boys, and I want to remember them as being of my generation- as large as life, if not larger. But I guess it could be fun reminiscing, provided they didn't absolutely butcher it...

the director who made the video is the son of my teacher :D and he once said that he intended the movies to be different from the audioplays and the books because its impossible to exactly adopt the storyline and also it would be non-sense to have adult actors who drive the car (like they do in the audioplays & books) because its still a children movie and if they would be adults the kids couldnt identify with them anymore. so you gotta let go of what you know about the three, because then

oh, is it? thanks; i might look for dem online...and in very urgent case, might buy one of dem....u kno i'm from bangladesh, nd teens were like crazy for the translated and modified versions of these stories, and once some ppl took projects to make movies of these..but later for some reasons, they got cancelled...so i was carrying grief for a long while, hope finally they'll be removed :)

well in the first movie i was like "what the hell?!" because it was so weird to see those young investigators compared to the real ones that actually drive the car and everything. but i got used to it and the second also included some mature content and reference to sex. well the young kids in the cinema didnt get the joke but as teen or adult it was actually really funny xD
