My dad bought one & is extremely upset with the battery life. I've played with the phone a few times & it's way more difficult to figure out compared to my iPhone. It's definitely faster than mine & I love the bigger screen, but overall, I'll stick with my iPhone.

These new Verizon phones DO out shine my apple, just wish they were easier to use.

You know what sucks about android. They update their phones and software so often that they make you want to get the latest phone and or software 6 months. While apple is working on the new iPhone every year which is going to be better when it's launched. They will take all the ideas from all the other cool stuff android is coming up with and is going to make iPhone 5 with all the latest stuff people go "Ga-Ga" over. iPhone is losing it cause its old technology. @plehdehgame yeah ok. iphone or android both have their share of issues, Android kicks ass in the sense that you can do whatever you want on the device speacially customize it create your own roms for it and on some models even add more hardware to it. On Apple you have to follow and do what they say to use their hardware, you can jailbreak but you still depend on their software updates witch will lock you back in and have to wait for a developer to unlock it 8 months later.

the best parts he did not even mention. The automatic web page reflow is hot, the voice commands is crazy. You can say things like "text Mr X. Im running late be there soon" and it does it. Or navigate to Burger King and it uses the gps in the phone to find the closest one and gives you turn by turn directions. I love my iphone but this phone was on at&t I would be getting it.

@FreshKiNg27 Well the thunderbolt is an updated Evo 4G currently provided by sprint. With Gingerbread its incredibly faster even though it still has the same processor as its cousin so personally I dont think there's a serious need for dual core right now. Smart move on HTC's part. I personally am a fan of HTC design quality and their Sense UI. HTC makes very reliable phones and they have very few bugs compared to Moto which make pretty good but buggy phones (source - Proud Droid X owner)

You do have the Bionic and Inspire but I'm not sure when those come out(If someone knows do tell) But, as of today a new phone as leaked called the Motorola Targa. Do real word on it yet as in detailed specs and release date and so forth. Only thing that came about was the possibility of the phone having a 13MP camera. Take a look. Also if your not sure. Look up phones you want on youtube, there are vids that compare.

@Fa2thebian92 The whole point of the "4G" is that they are 4th generation smartphones. Right now, Android is the top dog in that field, statistics prove it in quite a few categories. BlackBerry's are being put to shame now, and the iPhone still can't quite keep up with Android models such as the EVO 4G and Droid X. Affordable phones, which by that if you mean less than a couple hundred, are simply not going to be smartphones. Just your average text and call phone.

I hit my 2 year mark in a month and I'm waiting for the Bionic so I can feel like I'm getting an upgrade... though handling voice & data simultaneously on Verizon's network is a nice perk...
