  • Civil engineers are so underpaid

  • Civil engineering is the most favorite engineering branch of mine. I have applied for this branch for my higher studies & i am sure that i will do well in it , henceforth having a good future.

  • This guy has no clue what he is talking about. The A/E team is headed up by an architect and civil engineers is just a sub-consultant hired by the A/E firm. Civil Engineering firms rarely are in control of building projects. Architects usually head up the team and during construction a General Contractor or Construction Manager control the construction. Civil engineers and Structural Engineers only get a tiny percentage of the total project costs. Like 5% or less of the total project cost.

  • is it nessesary to learn C++,for the sake of civil engineering

    i find it totally dumb.

  • I am currently almost 16 years old. Since i was 4-5, I have always wanted to be an engineer. More specificly, a civil engineer (since I was about 9). Now, I am sure that this job is for me :)

BTW, what is the average payment?

  • civil e all da way!!!!!!!!! :D

  • how is the scope if civil engneering in america

  • I really like this video. I've done 3 years of my civil engineering degree in Melbourne and it's really hard sometimes to find the excitement, the light at the end of the tunnel, with a video like this one, it's easy to appreciate the stuff that civil engineers do.

  • Hello people I have a question if I study to become a civil engineer in a Latin American country can I find a job in the USA ?

  • Hey I like your video and I had a question for you. What do u think the min. Wage for an constructional civil engineer?

  • im 15 and i want to be an architect and civil engineer. i like both of them :)

  • - Civil Engineer Never Die They Just Go To Hell To Regroup -

  • I'm almost done my degree in Civil Engineering. It's easy to forget how incredible and beautiful a concept it really is - so easy to become lost in little things. This video really got me motivated - thanks! :)

  • @Ps1locyb1n hey had the same experience at my recent vacation work where the small repetitive tasks got to me, but this video shows you the possibilities for a long well planned career to do some amazing stuff.

  • Those stairs with floor slab look so difficult.

  • how much do you get paid in this profession???

  • @NeoQuello 100k-150k

  • @NeoQuello on average for a civil engineer is about $75 000. I have friends who have just recently graduated from university and are making 60K/70K starting.

  • @TehFair Depend of a Contry, in my 1000 € for a Master of Bolonha or Lienciatura 5 years. At Máx 1500€ for start.

  • Are civil engineers involved in the contruction of private homes?

  • yes and no depends on what specialty you are.

  • @MasterThief1324 in a very minor way. that is chiefly attributed to an architect, or depending on local laws, a "custom home builder" who is just really a contractor. A civil might play a role in how drainage and grading are completed but most assured, not the design. thats not to say you cant design as a civil, but thats a whole other story.

  • i cant decide yet lol thers so much lol

    civil, mechnical, robotic, aerospace

  • i'm proud to be a civil engineer. now i'm in marine civil engineering discipline.

  • 1:02 nice

  • @ForgottenCavalry Yes, I agree. That theatre looks amazing!

  • wow his story is like mines haha.

  • So the main difference between civil engineering and architecture is that architecture focuses mainly on the creative aspects while civil engineering focuses on the practical aspects? Do I have this right?

Then what does architectural engineering consist of?

  • ahhhh im so exited to star studyng this profecionaly :)

  • spelling. . ouch

  • Should be English 1101 first

  • lol 1101....English 101....the irony.

  • wow. im impressed. excellent. civil engineering is the oldest of all, starting right from civilisation in egypt, etc.. it is no wonder a great profession and civil engineers always take their pride.

  • @addieroxrev09 you are aware that its not called civil because egypt was the first civilisation right? egypt was not the first civilisation either. engineering was originally only a military position, then civil engineers were required . civil means of or for the citizens.

  • @addieroxrev09 no, military engineering is the oldest of all.
