It just might be one of the most rare historical accounts in recorded history. It is uploaded on my channel. A never before released wtc attack video that is a continuous running account. The only such video account that exists. It is a time capsule; it is the answer to the question: what would it have been like to watch that all unfold right before my eyes.. without the media.. just to watch it all from beginning to the end.. in a non-production way. Only one 'Tuesday Morning in September'
deploying in a few weeks and have been trying to find some desiccant or silica gel packs other than ordering online, called academy as soon as i seen this and got the last box they had, thanks a lot! was so worried i would find anything good enough on time
@darque29 all I have is 2 shotguns and a lot of ammmo I just keep it in my closet in duffle bags with those little silica pack but I live in Nevada do you think I should store them better
The description on their web site says that each pack is good for 5 - 7 cubic ft. and each is good for about 6 weeks. Then you stick it in the oven at 200 deg. for 3 hours. They also say each pack is good for about 3 - 4 times o the oven before they are useless.
@dadiddlydooda DO NOT use vaseline on rubber. Petroleum-based products have a detrimental effect on rubber. Prolonged contact with anything derived from mineral oil will make rubber turn into a jelly-like substance. Use silicone grease instead; perfectly safe.
I use a Food Saver ..The Machine is like 50 - 80 Dollars and they work for ever. The Food saver bags are around 20 dollars for a huge Box at Sams Club . One food saver Bag could hold that entire box of ammo he has. The seals Dont break Unless sealed wrong. Nothing wrong with his Method .. But I think I like my method Its easier and less costly. Plus ....The food saver bags can be used to protect matches and Just about anything that needs to kept dry. All the air is sucked out of the bag
@magic1926 To recharge the packets its 200 degres for up to 3 hours. For optimal recharging keep the packets in the oven for up to 10 hours at the same tempeture.Packets can be recharged up to 4 times. I currently have one ina plastic ammo can. I works the same. Thanks for the feedback.
Yea you could store them that way. I use to store my guns in anti rust-anti corrosion bags and some are still stored in them.They seem to work pretty well also. Thanks for the feedback

You think I can use vaseline on the rubber seal to prevent cracks and tears?
dadiddlydooda 10 months ago
@dadiddlydooda if you have CLP or any lubricant that would work as well

Nice way to eliminate moisture. How long does those packets generally last before you have to recharge them again?

couldn't you just throw you stuff in your closet rip out the carpet and buy a dehumidifier????to take care of the moister??

@XxRayPwnsxX
Your method requires electricity to work. The ammo can and desiccant method does not.
