I love way Abyssion talks in the JP version, I can so feel his emotions that he desperatly wants that power. It sounds really good. As for the voice of Lloyd, I can listen to it all day long. Same goes for the English one, both did a really good job, really! Can't say which one I prefer more.

And the ToS2 Divine Justice is actually a different arte called Shouha Soutenzan, which roughly translates to Soaring Destruction Blue Imperial Slash.

@DiscoStu541 Its not a glitch at all, because Abyssion stood up while Lloyd was using Demon fang.You can knock him down and let him stand up again like 4 - 6 times or even more with this trick until you need to break the hit counter with Fierce Demon Fang.After Fierce Demon Fang the hit counter is going to resets its combo value to 0 again and you to keep doing this again until you need another break for the hit counter, so you can keep going further until Abyssion switches into overlimit mode.

@MakerMario That's not what I was meant...my Japanese isn't that great, so I don't know the names of the techs, but it looks like he's using two tiger blade related techs in a row after each demon fang (tiger rage and twin tiger blade). Usually you're not supposed to be able to link techs of the same type, but one is an S tech and one is a T tech, so the game doesn't recognize them as the same type. The only way to get a lvl 3. S tech with a lvl. 2 T tech is by using a fairly common glitch.

@DiscoStu541 Tiger Blade is a lvl 1 tech, but of course you can link Tiger Blade(lvl 1 tech)and Twin Tiger Blade(lvl3 tech). If you use the ex skill "Ability Plus" to link 2 lvl 1 Techs in row(for e.g. Demon Fang + Tiger Blade), you will be able to link lvl 1 techs with a lvl 3 one, because the game is supposed to do that.

It's not a glitch or hack at all.

Even if he had a Star Helm, it doesn't explain how he got an immunity to Lightning/Earth and thus should have died due to that Gravity Well. And it DOES hit him, because it successfully closes around him and would normally begin to do damage at that point.

I think you have bad eye sight or game experience cuz even if the quality isn't the greatest looking closely you can tell he never gets hit. Also monkeys can play as Lloyd succesfully and he soloed with Raine so why the hell would you hack the nubfriendly character that takes no skill to rape with?

@samuspoonschief Why would one do it? For bragging rights, of course. Its the whole reason he put this video up. But its legitimacy falters when Lloyd is hit with Gravity Well and that one other Light attack. I believe that it is impossible to make Lloyd invincible to Lightning, Earth AND Light, thus it becomes pretty obvious. I even tested it on my own Tales of Symphonia, and Gravity Well took effect at the point that it should have taken effect. The delay isn't as big as you make it out to be.

PS Gravity Well has a whole second before it actually hits, and Prism Swords doesn't exactly hit the entire area it lights up on the ground. If you jump into one, the 'tail' of the spell doesn't damage you.

You can't Infinite Combo him in the US version. After he falls down, you can't use demon fang to continue the combo. It works like, Tiger Blade-> Twin Tiger Blade->Demon Fang-> Repeat until he falls. Chodozia was right, after about the 36th hit, he'll fall, making him uncomboable after that.

This guy is pretty brutal. On the American version I solod him on mania modewith Lloyd not without getting hit but the only items i used were orange gels and pineapple gels (increase TP) and the magic lens because since I was only lvl 147 I ran out of TP FAST...it really isn't that impressive i'm sure anyone could do it by copying this guys strategy or tweaking it a bit to your preference like I did. But also that was the american version so all he had was Indig. Judgment and meteor storm.

Tape, the only thing is that the Jap version has more Hi-ougis, but Abyssion is slower and can be comboed better, as in this video. I could never get over 36 hits (Only once), and he reacts faster than the Jap version if you tried his Zelos strat.

He does exist, It's a side quest you have to start in Flanoir, Talk to the blue haired individual (Abyssion) who then gives you 1 of the 13 (i think) Nephilim items that he asks you to collect for him. After you get all 13, it'll take you to the boss ;D

Um, no? FDF is Fierce Demon Fang which damages the target and stops the combo. So you can re-do it until you count 96-97 hits WITHOUT THE METR SAYING SO. Overlimit it done by 100 hits to the enemy.

It must be one of those "Red ..." herbs that you use to increase your stats. You can get an indefinite amount of them or something. Colette's "Item Finder" helps, as well as "Item Getter" for stealing. Use a guide to know which enemies drop them or can steal from.
