@GiuIiano Usually there should be a speaker icon on the lower-right corner of your taskbar. You can configure it there, or do so on the Control Panel.

Please, I did everything as it is in the Tutorial, but has a little problem, Spectrum Analyser does not "move the bars," he did not "perceive the sound" even playing, and the animation is not just to the music, can someone explain to me what I?

1. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX and sound card driver installed.

2. Make sure you have selected and enabled a RECORDING input for your sound card ("stereo mixer", "what you hear", "wave out", etc).

Please note that the XP support of this Spectrum Analyser gadget is already obsolete, and there are some cases (XP) in which everything is done correctly but the gadget still doesn't work (basically a DirectX/driver issue).

@roastedchikin If you really can't drop any folder/file to the gadget, use the settings panel to configure the animation folder path.

Update after seeing how you got the spectrum analyzer background to change I realized I can't change my backgrounds (my previous answer is confusing) it just shows black with bars (except as I said before one of the bar setups that has a mirror shows 'half' of the picture upside down)

Actually I've gotten it to redownload (I honestly don't know how... srry for a lack of info I just don't know why or how it happened) but I still can't find that listen thing... I have it where I see bars in the middle of the box and I see a mirroring of the listen ( I only see the top and it's upside down) Also I'm sorry if you have trouble understanding me I just downloaded it like 2 days ago

I downloaded the spectrum analysis (i think thats how its spelled) but i couldnt find the the "listen" background or change it to any of my pictures (it would become invisible and i would see floating sound bars) so i clicked uninstall on my gadgets page but now i cant reinstall it... NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I DOWNLOAD IT! PLZ HELP. awsome otherwise though!

@SirH3X3N Exactly what issues did you have with System Animator 4.1? And btw the latest release version of System Animator is 4.6.1.

No matter which version of System Animator you use, you need Spectrum Analyser gadget in order to let System Animator respond to music.

@ryaneoh That depends on the animation type. For "Animate Picture", you can configure it to be resizable (if you download them from my site, they are usually resizable. You can resize them by double-clicking on the corners or the animation itself).

@jesush8u Whatever, none of my gadgets contains any sound files. If you really hear anything, it must be something else.

As for your last question, is your Sidebar configured to load automatically on system startup?
